I struggled to think level 20 and thought oh that’s the end, but then I played the other 10 levels and completed it. I definitely enjoy the the ability to combine different upgrade paths like sniper barrel with rocket, or vise versa with quad and sniper bullets, I don’t enjoy the cluster upgrades. I completed all levels with 3 stars as well as getting every up grade now I am hoping for an update with more levels considering the game has been out for 3 months now. Plz update. But otherwise this is a really great game that I can definitely see a future for if the dev picks the right upgrade path for it, and doesn’t cluster it up. Plz don’t turn this really good mobile indie game into a pay to play. Edit: I realize this game probably became dead because all of the other reviews except for mine I guess are from February, and the most recent one said February 15, good game I guess it’s not gonna get updated or anything considering nothing has happened since release. Second Edit: I hope the dev reads this but I doubt because it appears to be dead. Truly a fun game to play, and it’s nice to have a game you don’t have to purchase game currency with real money to continue in. I love the layout and I can see the developer will continue to expand on the game itself as time goes on, however, there is a problem with the movement control registering. I have had so many moments where the movement controls don’t register on the ground for me to move my tank and I get shot down. Keep up the good work! **Developer response:** I really appreciate the positive review, thanks for playing! ### 4/5 — So many things wrong *2018-02-03* Yeah, I get it, this game just came out yesterday, but the amount of bugs and things wrong are unacceptable, the hitboxes on the tanks are so messed up you can’t shoot them if they’re anywhere within a tank-length, the movement system is completely broken, and the game is so horribly optimized that the battery in my 2017 iPad Pro drained to 10% from 100 in less than 2 hours with the brightness all the way down, in airplane mode, and no other apps open. But this game has a lot of potential, especially if they give you the option to change the movement system to a joystick and let you shoot while moving Edit: Changed my review to 4 stars because when I first posted this I was super salty, it’s really a great game, just needs a few kinks worked out, such as being able to shoot through walls and the movement system. I didn’t take into consideration all the work that went into this amazing looking game. Oh, and also you might want to change the amount of money you get after each level, I played level 30 maybe 10 times and unlocked pretty much every other upgrade I wanted. **Developer response:** Thank you for the constructive review and your interest in Blast! I have always planned on putting multiple control schemes in the game, however I couldn't get it done for the initial release. Unfortunately, it's actually a lot of work to do this, but you can definitely expect to see multiple control schemes in a future update. The games graphics quality changes per device, based on the info you have given me it appears that I may have set it to high for the 2017 iPad Pro. I will also look at fixing this in a future update. In the meantime you can enable power saving mode in the settings menu in the game. As for the bugs, please keep in mind that this was the first release and I am an indie developer. I am working on the game everyday, and hope to have them all resolved as soon as possible. I like the somewhat older graphics and the upgrading of the tank, but the controls are just so bad sometimes. I would prefer the control sticks on both sides, one for aiming/shooting, while the other is for driving.
