I have had my blast 2 since it came out brand new. But I think I blew the speaker bc sounding like it’s distorted so I broke down n brought a new boom 4 bc no new blast NOWHERE to be found but they won’t link together so definitely not happy about that but the boom is not as loud as my blast either VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!! Wish I could have found a new mega blast 😭

Die App ist komplett Nutzlos.
Es zeigt dauernd an dass es keine Verbindung zum WLAN aufbauen kann obwohl ich sehr gutes Internet habe. Kann somit keine Updates machen…
Der Lautsprecher an sich macht nicht viel falsch, nur dass die Alexa Funktion nicht richtig funktioniert aber der Sound ist gut

I think, since I bought the first UE Boom 1. You have the best speakers in a party and portable. But I can see two mistakes.

1. The first is…Why do you not put the same name UE | Boom , UE | Roll, MegaBlast | Blast? For example UE | Party.
2. Why can’t I organise which is the first in the column? I would like to be able to link one and that is the first. I can’t understand that.

My blast will not connect. It will say for a split second ready to pair and then disappear once it’s ready to connect to wifi. I can’t reset speaker as it’s not working and not pairing. It turns on and everything just won’t pair.

For many years I would’ve rated this 5 stars with the old phones and the older Megablast speaker.

Got a new phone and a new Megablast and the speaker just does not connect to the app, so I’m stuck with the god awful EQ which is preset on the speaker. What a fantastic waste of money, I have to manually change my EQ now on my phone everytime I listen to the speaker.

This is a very temperamental piece of equipment.  Mine also keeps refusing to turn back on and the Troubleshooting section on the app won’t work either.  I wouldn’t ever consider recommending this to anyone

So what we just gave up on the app and the MegaBlast speaker Alexa connectivity? It’s been years and I’ll never purchase another UE or Logitech device since the company is obviously not concerned with keeping their software up to date 👍

Crappy pairing can’t be more than 15 feet away 
And if someone walks between them they static out I have purchased three mega booms and a blast they need to update the app for the price of the speakers this shouldn’t be a issue

It was great when I bought it but it won't answer when you ask Alexa to do something or give a command out loud. only through my android phone or my iPad will it work. I have tried to update both Alexa and Ultimate ears but they don't have any available updates.
   My guess is Ultimate ears closed shop on my Blast so I have to buy another. On the bright side, I have a Google Nest that works great at 1/4 of the price. I know who to give my business after this.

Just got my Megablast today, took all of a few minutes to setup and update then I was listening to music from Alexa over WiFi. So far not seeing of the issues everyone else is, I’ll come back and update if it goes south.

App is easy to use with the right about of features and settings.  I like that I can quickly control volume from the app when the device is on the other side of the patio or pool.

So when I open the app I put in the WiFi password then it was searching for a update for the speaker and it found an update just it wouldn’t download and it won’t let me get any further in to the app to set up Alexa or anything if this gets fixed i will rate the app higher

Picked up the UE MegaBoom 3. It’s mint. App works mint. I can turn this speaker on from 50’ feet away using the app on my phone. Has mint Bluetooth reception at fairly long distances. Works from my patio with my phone in my pocket anywhere in my yard up to my farthest fence about 100’ feet away from the speaker. Has never crashed but like everything could always use improvements.

The app works just fine. The setup went perfectly at every step including the speaker getting a firmware update in the process. I was shocked at the number of bad reviews. I ran the app setup on an iPhone X with iOS 13.3 as well as an iPhone 6 with iOS 12.4. Every function in the app works fine including grouping speakers. Also the range is as good as my long range headphones and I’ve gotten hours of use with a group of speakers and not one glitch. Maybe it’s people with low performance or cheap hardware phones. IDK.

Been using the beta download through logitech website link for connecting multiple MEGABLAST speakers. Works and sounds flawlessly, but sometimes drops the signal. Its a beta so its to be expected. EQ works amazing just don’t crank the bass too much and its perfect. Best BT speaker I’ve ever owned. Bose soundlink iii has got nothing on this speaker and I’m an audiophile and this speaker is pretty good for a portable speaker 5/5 stars on this one. Keep up the great work logitech/ultimate ears💯

*UPDATE* their update finally has multi speaker pairing option for MEGABLAST
