But the links to the in app videos don’t work. It brings me to come blast connect win site. Hope I can figure out how to use the device and videos otherwise it’s going back. ### 3/5 — Decent practice only tool…not for game play *2026-04-15, version 4.15.0* Was excited to try this product. It connects no problem with some putting swings. Driver was a little finicky unless the sensor is correctly aligned. The largest attachment cap is very tight to get onto mid-sized grips…forget about a large putter grip. This would take way too long to use on course and change between clubs. Really only useable for practice sessions (which I don’t have time to do enough of to justify this device). ### 4/5 — Info *2026-03-26, version 4.15.0* I enjoy using the sensor. It’s great insight I to my putting and I e already seen an improvement with my tempo and speed control. I didn’t give this a 5 because I think it was difficult to set up and there’s still times when it doesn’t pick up a putt. No idea why. Then yesterday, even though I had ear buds connected to my phone, the readouts would not come through ear buds. Haven’t figured out that one yet. Putter face angle has been especially beneficial. Have seen results in my game instantly. They have now limited its functionality, requiring a yearly subscription to effectively use it. Honestly, they need to be sued. Logged in today and now none of the data is available - subscription required. What a sleazy company. I bought the product with full access to data no subscription required and then all of a sudden the company changes the model on all of us. Absolutely bait and switch. I spent $100+ for the sensor and have to pay a monthly fee? What a rip off. No way. The company got so greedy. I only need putting tempo that is it. I am not gonna pay extra fee to measure that. I’m not looking for super analysis, just basic stuff like club face angle etc. Recently the app updated and it only limits me to 15 shots a day. Blast wants another $100 a year subscription to hit more shots. I don’t not recommend this product anymore. Used Sensor yesterday and now it has stopped connecting to my iPhone. App reinstalled, sensor fully charged and flashing green as it should be. App remains convinced it is January of 2020, & won’t update the date. Service promises to send email with link to reset password, but never does so. Obviously abandonware. Have tried to troubleshoot. I'd rather not remove and re-add the sensor. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Works great but now has subscription *2026-07-28, version 4.16.0* I bought this years ago with unlimited use, no subscription required. I liked it quite a bit and found the stats very useful. Used it for the first time in a while and now it's limited to 15 putts a day or you need a subscription. Knowing that I wouldn't buy it today. Going in the trash now. ### 1/5 — Bugs and not helpful *2026-07-13, version 4.16.0* Got it as a gift. Took it to the range to try it out. Gives you stats on your swing no data about what your stats should or shouldn’t be. Tried it for chipping didn’t record any of my swings. Can’t change the date in the app it’s stuck on 2020. Now it’s $50 to keep using it. No thanks I’ll spend my money on something that’s actually useful. ### 1/5 — Be warned Blast is a scam *2026-06-20, version 4.16.0* Let me start by saying the product itself is not bad, my issue is with the deceitful nature in which this company changed their policy. They locked the ENTIRE APP behind a paywall without any warning or consideration for the customers that supported them in the first place. When you purchase a device with the expectation that the device will be supported by the app for free, that needs to be honored. But they decide that they want to get more money out of you for a device you already paid for. So they put the whole app behind a paywall and don’t give any consideration to previous customers at all. The least they could do is give customers that bought the device before the paywall a free subscription. Blast motion is a deceitful, unethical, and downright dishonest company for doing this. ### 1/5 — Sleazy company *2026-04-26, version 4.15.0* I like many others have found out that functionality that was free a year ago is now restricted unless you pay a subscription fee. While it’s not expensive, it’s no where near worth it and honestly I would never pay it on principle. ### 1/5 — Subscription Surprise. $60 per year *2026-04-23, version 4.15.0* When I purchase the Blast Golf Sensor, there was no required subscription for recording swing data. No there is a $60 per year subscription or you are limited to 10 swings per day. Makes the sensor as a training tool ..useless. After an app “update” the app now limits the number of putts tracked to 15. These were not the terms when I purchased the device and I would not have purchased it if I knew they would later demand a subscription.
