Because it’s his first game I was expecting something amateurish and barely working, but by gum he really made something fun. The basic concept seems to be to avoid enemy ships until you can launch a special move that will wipe them out. If I had to compare the game mechanic to something it would be a little like the gym battles in Pokémon Go where you jab jab jab as your special meter fills up. It’s a good game for the commute - just start a game and rub your thumb all over the screen and see what happens. I recommend everyone get the IAP which unlocks a more powerful ship. It kind of feels like cheating to use the much more powerful weapon that I paid for. But at the same time it takes me back to my middle and high school days of pc gaming when I was so crappy at Doom I had to keep the cheat codes on at all times. Anyway this is great but I hope next time he’ll make a sick jrpg or point and click adventure game base on the NoMoWo expanded universe.
