And using the starting prototype only counts for 1. Ummmm like maybe allow us to trial the paid prototypes so we can actually progress for free to play players. After several days of trying and restarting the phone and reinstalling the game and trying to contact the devs on twitter, I figured it out. It's quite a big update, and you have to leave your phone alone for some minutes. Without a progress bar or some moving numbers this is a test of patience for sure. While trying to find a solution I found a 200 something days old threat of people having the same exact problem. How is that not fixed yet? Was about to uninstall and forget it, and I'd say it's a safe bet that other people have done exactly that. 3 days of hassle just to finally see the game's starting screen ... 😒 Edit: played for a while, and the game looks and plays fantastic. The problem is you need to pay to get characters. Many of the achievements and much of the progression is based on having multiple BlazBlue characters and DLC characters don’t count. The game is so fun, I paid for all the characters. That was a $25 commitment. I think this game should have been $15-20. I’m sure the current model was more fruitful and lead more people the game. I've put a lot of time working my way up extreme expecting free analyzers to progress the story and enjoying the varied characters and advanced legacy systems, but it seems the only option is to spend money to do so.
