But the app works! *2026-01-29, version 7.4.1* Need to lock in on the UX here. The contact photo/microphone buttons shouldn’t take up a third of the screen. The ellipsis button (…) simply shouldn’t exist on the chat window. If I wanted to change the text size, I’d expect to find that in the settings. Contact photo should be in that top right corner spot, and I should be able to set my preferred response method (keyboard, microphone, ai, emoji.) to take up the real estate at the bottom. ### 1/5 — Switched to monthly subscription *2025-11-22, version 7.3.3* If you want to use your watch on cellular with features as they were before, you now pay 1.99 per month (“early bird”) to fund new features. The feature of having WhatsApp on my wrist and been able to listen to audio messages, reply voice to text which works strong - is a killer feature. That why I am a subscriber. If you are new here: this app on the Watch lets you read/ send and receive WhatsApp messages even if you don’t have your phone (as long as you have cellular).
