## What is BLE Terminal?

BLE Terminal is a scanner and communicator between your iPhone, iPad or Mac and any Bluetooth Low Energy device.

You can find all the devices nearby, see their properties and description, signal strength, all services and characteristics. It is also possible to connect to any device, watch detailed information and communicate with it using read, write and notify properties.

For convenience, pre-filled commands are provided, the list of which can be expanded and edited.

We also added support for Hex commands with a convenient keyboard. You can always switch between Hex and ASCII modes.

WE purchased their tools to work with our Nordic nRF85XXX embedded processor chips.  Neither tool detects these BLE devices and as such, no value in the tools.  Should have allowed a "try" option.

Update: Fast response from the developer - very nice to see.

Enumerates a large number of devices, but isn't very capable at getting their names - devices that my Mac has discovered and connected to. 

A lot of potential - I hope development continues on the code!

**Developer response:** We have implemented standard device detection and connection. Perhaps we can change the scanning logic to get more device names, but this can negatively affect the battery consumption of your device. We have added this item to our plans to improve the application, most likely this option will be added to the application settings. We will try to include this item in the next update. **Developer response:** Your bluetooth module may be turned off or malfunctioning on your computer.  Please make sure that the application has received all the necessary permissions, and the bluetooth module is turned on.
