Every level requires a heavy hand of RNG or consumables to clear. Matching is the least of your concerns considering the numerous obstacles placed in various levels that abstract any fun in the game. Considering the sheer volume of levels the game wants you to clear to complete a season pass (400-500!!) the levels are extremely punishing with their various hazards and randomness. Battle passes are not required so okay what else? Every aspect of the game hard pushes you to purchase game currency for a ridiculous expense ratio. It’s like $5 USD for a revive…and you can’t play online so even if you wanted to suffer through the torturous grind you need at least wifi. Really disappointing product, do not recommend. Edit: game has reached its 1 year anniversary and no changes to the rng grind. No loading screen, the opening screen then white, that’s it. Never had a problem with updates before. This is the first and it’s a big one. It ridiculous you expect people to clear 350+ monthly for these campaigns. You have a paid and free version of the event but lets be honest it all pay to win. The main story I would be collecting the same characters multiple times, it feels like a waste of time. Also why is there a time limit on hearts sent by friends? Its already hard to come by. And I hate when I login and I am force to use those infinite items. Also let people do more with their profiles and chose their favourite layout for the main screen. So many huge problems you need to address! The only good thing about the game is the seasonal chibi designs. At least give up more coins for completing. ### 1/5 — Good at first becomes generic unfun luck based puzzle *2024-11-17, version 1.0.5* The beggining level are ludicrously easy but the later levels turn into the cliche that was created by candy crush where the move restrictions make it more based on luck than on skill and this feeds into the encouragement to pay money for an intentionally half baked design, fully baked for screwing you out of money if your willing to pay, but if this were an actual full purchase game it wouldn't even be considered, and most of the prices are equal to or more than an Indy game that would be more polished and player friendly, but that what has come to be expected of so called "free to play" mobile games, at least Fortnite and such ftp console games give you a real game to play that isn't predatory about being able to even play the game Brave souls isn't great but at least it let's you play and complete things not solely based on luck with the later difficulties ### 1/5 — Boring and stupidly repetitive *2024-11-05* Some levels seem to almost impossible unless you either spend coins or use your boosters. Challenge mode is also a complete joke. Only ever gives you levels in the 400s and somehow it’s always levels I done or have done in previous challenge mode. I’ve had level 453 come up every time once I’ve unlocked challenge mode. I wouldn’t recommend this game at all and don’t delete your own reviews and ratings to make it seem like a good game ### 1/5 — Incredibly predatory and unsurprisingly bad. *2024-10-13, version 1.0.3* Why am I not surprised that Klab’s latest game also suffers from massive over inflation in terms of cost MTX for what you get? The micro-transactions are incredibly expensive and offer very little to no benefit. The coin system is ridiculously priced as well. 900 for 5 extra moves and 1500 after that? Wow, I’m sure I’ll be able to continue once every 15 or so cleared level given that we get a measly ~60 or so coins per clear. Sure Klab, I’ll gladly spend $20 for 9 continues. Glad to see you give us a bonus of items that can be essentially useless due to your game’s crappy RNG. The game falls flat where it tried its best. It barely touches Bleach. The biggest inclusion is the “Pages” where you continue to spend another currency you barely earn and get progressively more expensive. What do you get for completing a page? 1 of each of the lesser items that you basically waste because the RNG is designed to make you want to spend. You basically never touch the page again. Unsurprisingly, Klab is trying its best to copy Komoney, but failing spectacularly. I really did love this game. Some levels I got stuck on for days and the joy I felt after beating it was unmatched. Read other reviews and take notes from games like Chrome Valley Customs. They do a way better job at this genre of game. Aspects need more balancing like the drop and formation rate of power ups. Levels generate half the time with too many obstacles and it’s a miracle you can even clear them. It’s that bad winning a level is almost solely based of RNG alone and not how you play. The time it takes to clear some missions makes it impossible to finish special events as levels cannot be cleared fast enough. Lives take way too long to regenerate.
