I found no mention of this anywhere online. Is it hidden somewhere? If not i sincerely hope this gets added. That minor issue aside, this is prob the best overall analogue sounding synth on ios right now. ### 5/5 — Excellent for sound design *2020-04-30* Every aspect of this powerful synth can be modulated externally and internally. What does that mean? You can do a lot of cool and weird stuff with it you’ve never heard before and make a variety of nice synth sounds. Yes, there are a few things I would like as extras such as different routes into the filters or delay of the LFOs, but I can work around these. I have found a bug, but have reported that and it’s not a killer for the most part. The pros definitely out way the cons and I’m enjoying the results a lot, although some string patches I’ve made can kill my Air2 at times, but that’s par for the course these days as apps get more resource hungry and iPads get better. I would normally give this say 4 stars, as all apps can be improved, but I’m giving it 5 because in conjunction with your wonderful fx apps, the whole is just a fantastic resulting sound fest and your work deserves high praise. **Developer response:** Thank you very much for your good feedback! Also thanks for getting back to us regarding the motion sequencer issue, which will be fixed in the next upcoming update! ### 5/5 — 定番のシンセになるかもね *2020-02-14* ここ最近はいいシンセアプリがたくさん出てるけど、そのなかでもこれはよい。 インターフェースはよくある感じではあるけど、よくある配置なので使いやすいってことでもある。 音色は優等生みたいな変な癖がない印象。バッキングトラックに適してる縁の下の力持ち的なサウンドは得意そう。しかも、埋もれるような薄い音じゃなくて、しっかりとアシストするような音が出せる。 リードサウンドもいける。優等生の音とは矛盾するようだけど、不良みたいな音も出せるというか、演じられるというか、とにかくよくできてる。 音楽的なイメージで調ざっくり言うならば全体的にヨーロッパのクラブシーンの音が出せる。日本製のシンセもいいけど、これほそれとはまた別の良さ **Developer response:** フィードバックとサポートをありがとう！ ### 5/5 — Yep! *2020-02-11, version 1.1* Started out great. Seriously. *2020-02-07* Can y’all have a meeting with all the other iOS synth developers and let them know how important it is to have a CPU friendly smooth running app? The best sounds in the world don’t mean much if it’s crackling and crashing every other time. **Developer response:** ah ah! A. Delight. *2020-02-04* Turning seventy was made a lot easier with Bleass Alpha installed. This thing is deep and it makes me laugh too. Bleass Alpha is a delight. It makes great sounds which is so important in today’s cluttered up world of soft synths and it is a joy to use. It took to Bitwig like a duck. Very reasonably priced. Frustrating because it was an awesome app when it worked but an expensive thing not to work! Received a message from the developer saying that the app works fine and that I should delete and reinstall GarageBand which I did. Same problem persists. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. For the price paid, I would expect it to work reliably. I’d advise other customers to be wary. PS: Deleting GB also deleted the data associated to it so I lost several files as a result. And that’s.. I can’t save MIDI mapping templates. ### 3/5 — Basic sounds… *2021-12-04* They are decent noises, and tons of them, but most are rather uninspiring. There are a few gems that have space in my faves so definitely keeping the fully loaded app in the mix. Speaking of mix, while most of the sounds by themselves are perhaps a bit lackluster, they leave a lot of room in the audio spectrum for other tracks, and sometimes this app offers just the perfect patch that fits nicely in the mix. **Developer response:** We guess that's a matter of taste, we're sorry we couldn't fully match your expectations. The glide could be better, The voice count ploy voice could be a bit clearer, maybe it’s me on that part . Oh be part it would be cool to modulate the cutoff with the envelope. **Developer response:** Hi Vern Ha. you can indeed modulate the cutoff by using the 2 LFOs available in the modulation section. It’s really well thought out and easy to use, quite intuitive really. I find myself making sounds I want to use quite quickly and easily. I love that it has two filters! Being able to choose what goes to what filter and in what order would be useful though. There’s nothing overly negative to say about the synth except for it is a bit basic in features compared to some other current offerings…especially in this day and age of virtual synths. There’s just a few things I really hope might get added in the future. Examples would be a lot more Modulation destinations, it would be great to be able to Modulate the effects in particular but quite often I want to modulate something I’m thinking I want to hear in the sound and I can’t. It’s often quite frustrating in that regard. Envelope ADSR delay would be useful, also a loop option. I’d love another Modulation ADSR envelope as well. Envelope curve options would be super useful too for sound design. Visual representation of the Modulation on the parameters would be cool too. A pink noise option perhaps. Or being the fact it’s iOS maybe drawable LFOs or envelopes would be a Modern touch. The more I use this synth the more I Love it, however the more I find little things I wish were there. If you want a versatile, excellent sounding synth that’s quick to learn easy to program and good value for money this is it! Such a Good Synth by all standards. Thanks A lot BLEASS for this Beast! Je retire une étoile car il manque une fonction essentielle, la possibilité de mettre en favoris les presets d’usine, afin de retrouver facilement ses sons préférés. I use it far too much. Then I made a nice clean sub-bass on anout 2 minutes. Intuitive app with great potential. ### 5/5 — Smooth layout *2025-06-30* I really like this very stable, well designed soft synth. I'm taking off one star because I feel like both main oscillator should have an independent amp envelope, for pads or whatever.. The low pass/High pass/ Band Pass filter etc section is very flexible, the best I've ever used in fact. I wish every synth had this type of manipulation. I've already created some very lush deep analog type pads. I don't really like the stock effects except the reverb and delay which are usable, and that's the main thing. I absolutely love omega too, I've made amazing rich sounds on it. I also own bleass reverb, filter and delay so I'm familiar with their workflow. Without sounding greedy, I believe that people who own the iPad versions should have a small discount on the Mac os versions and vice versa. The positive: everything else. It’s easy to make your own patches that sound great thanks to the typically awesome BLEASS UI . Everything they’ve made before and after Alpha has held true to that. Everything is simple to use, but the level of depth is amazing. I took classes, been spending time learning and practicing. Watching a lot of videos on YouTube by pros and one of them mentioned this synth. Did some research and took the plunge and I’m blown away. It’s so easy yet so complex. I crafted my own sound and already used it in a project hours after buying it. Playing directly into Garageband is so seamless and perfect I can’t possibly give this enough stars. Keep doing what you’re doing devs - this is nothing short of spectacular and has inspired me to keep experimenting with new sounds. Spent a couple hours comparing it to other synths by watching countless YouTube reviews. Since I already own at least a dozen of known popular iOS synths, I didn’t want to end up with one just like everything else but with a different UI. Anyways, I was torn between a couple other synths and boy was I happy with my Bleass choice! It’s my first Bleass app so I was a bit apprehensive at first but this synth is a treat to any sound geek. An hour an a half just flew by like 5 minutes just by playing and manipulating presets. I’m not new to iOS synths but this little beast is a real treat! So easy to navigate and make adjustments. The sound was surprisingly rich and super versatile. You can get a glimpse of what you can do with it just by looking at included presets. You don’t really need to get the extra IAP presets to begin to appreciate its potential. The UI is very eye pleasing too.
