### 5/5 — More than a delay

*2019-02-20*

An effect app that does a lot more than just delay in one screen with nice easy to use controls. It’s nice that you can save your presets in the app and use them in any of your AUv3 host apps. Capable of a wide range of effects which can be easily dialed in to suit your taste.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your kind review and rating, Paul

### 1/5 — No

Big problem hang my phone

**Developer response:** Could you please elaborate?

### 2/5 — Standalone gives blank screen

*2025-05-24*

When I start the app standalone I just get a blank screen. When I open it in AUM it is fine and appears onscreen. The other BLEASS plug-ins I have, Phaser and Flanger, work fine and appear onscreen when started standalone. So there is some bug in the Delay plug-in.

**Developer response:** Hi! We're sorry to hear you're having trouble with BLEASS Delay. Since the plugin works in standalone mode (our demo mode) on all devices we've tested, the issue may be specific to your setup. App Store comments aren't the best place for support, so we kindly ask you to reach out to BLEASS support directly so we can troubleshoot and resolve this for you quickly.

We understand frustration can lead to a lower rating, but a 2-star review can unfairly impact our brand and the hard work we put into BLEASS Delay (which you can fully use in AUv3), especially before we’ve had a chance to assist. Please contact our support team, and we’ll do everything we can to ensure you have a great experience. Thank you for your feedback and support!

### 2/5 — Corrupts my BM3 sessions. Every time.

*2020-06-03*

Please fix. The CPU doesn’t even hit 40% on the overall session. Then I’d save/ exit BM3 app. When I try to open it back up it says session corrupted. This never started happening until I started incorporating this app into my workflow. Lost a lot of good work cause of this :/

**Developer response:** Thanks for notifying us of your problem. We would like to investigate further to see if it's host or plugin related. Could you please help us sort this out by reaching us at feedback@bleass.com and send us some information regarding your project file and device information? That would be really helpful. Thank you!

### 4/5 — Great quality with so much potential but not there yet!

*2020-06-11*

I absolutely love this delay!!! So simple and straight to the point! I use it in Garageband. There’s just a little problem there, almost every time I go back to my garageband project, it has to be reloaded or doesn’t load at all! Please fix!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your comment ghostfly! We are currently investigating that issue. To help us out, we would be very grateful if you would reach us through feedback@bleass.com with some more information about your project. A screen capture would be helpful as well. Thank you very much in advance!

### 5/5 — Play it like an instrument

*2024-05-20*

There are some apps that you can play, almost like an instrument. This is one. It is ridiculously inexpensive and well designed, like all Bleass apps.

**Developer response:** Thank you, make sure to give BLEASS Tides a try :)

### 5/5 — Shifty pleasures

*2020-03-02*

This may be a delay, but it’s the inclusion of the frequency shifter that’s had me smiling.

I’m sending midi to the frequency slider, but still trying to figure out the best way I can cycle through certain frequencies that go with the scale being used, as my musical knowledge is lacking in those areas, but it’s immense fun to be had!

### 5/5 — AU3

*2019-05-29*

The “v” - especially uncapitalized, but even if it were upped - serves no good purpose and in some cases serves bad purposes. I wish people would just stop with the useless letter in this abbreviation. The “3” refers very clearly to the iteration. That’s a software convention for many years.

Anyway, I am just grouchy about language these days, in all sorts of ways.

Oh, there was a plug thing to grunt about, from BLEATS. Now there’s a fine, admirable name. BLEATS has developed several fine apps, all released in the last six months, give or take a couple. A grrhoofe-box app, a reverb, a new kickpression mashup, and this delay. They all appear to be worth considering, even with many options available in each category. The rhythm/performance tool does a good job of stitching clip launching and chording into an app in a way that not much else in IOS (¡OS) does. The reverb has its ducking, the kick thing is a sidechain machine, and the delay has, uh - well, a delay, filtering and dirt, and pitch change.

That is to say the delay is the app with the most overlap with existing options of any of the BLEATS to date. All these BLEATS seem to want to accommodate interesting or unusual feature combinations, but they prioritize immediacy to facilitate live performance. Their way of going about this distinguishes them, for better or worse depending on your preferences. In the case of the delay, the feature combination is not so unusual. That said, it does well deliver on the BLEATS immediacy priority, allowing users quickly to find bliss with each option.

Of particular note, on the feature front, users have the ability push the delay itself beyond normal bounds.

There are many good delays on this platform. Thanks to our goat-men friends at BLEATS, we can welcome another.

Sing on, goats!

**Developer response:** Thank you very much for the rating, and also for the good laugh!
Yet, we will seriously consider finding an alternative to writing "AUv3"

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2019-04-17*

Great app! Like the others. Get them all!!

**Developer response:** Thanks Nick!

### 5/5 — Lovely sounding delay

*2019-02-22*

This is a really unique delay that is capable of making everything from beautiful ambient soundscapes all the way to bizarre FX. I really love being able to modulate the delay time, especially when it’s not synced; it produces nice pitch shifting tape delay sounds. I also really like the fact that there is both a low pass and high pass filter. I haven’t been using the pitch shifter function a whole lot, but it’s useful for creating sound FX. All in all, a great app that adds unique sounds and functionality to your iOS FX toolbox. I definitely recommend it!

### 5/5 — HTop 3 delays

*2019-02-21*

Love this qpas typish filter delay hope these developers continue to push plugs like this

**Developer response:** 2026 and still at it :) thank you for your rating
