Midiguitar2 is a great idea to experiment with! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — I can’t get it to work *2024-07-20* What do I need to do to hear and record? I can’t find any information that anyone is willing to share on how to use this. How do we use it? If I can’t use it then I request a refund. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work well *2023-11-17* I spent hours trying out the Mac app and the iPhone app. The mic input is louder than the extra voices even with the wet/dry turned all the way up. In FL Studio I had this issue. In Ableton Lite it didn’t work. In GarageBand there’s no way to send midi to the plug-in. I like how it can sound in videos online, but no matter what I did the mic was always too loud compared to the extra voices. I disabled monitoring as well so it wasn’t extra sound from monitoring the mic input. I even purchased a reputable app that I saw people use to route midi and mic input to the plug-in. I feel like this isn’t an app that will work well in my case and I’ve wasted money. My audio interface has worked well for everything else I use it for, so I don’t think it’s an issue there. On iPhone the app isn’t standalone, but what daw can work well for it? On Mac, I used the demo so at least I didn’t spend another $60. The most inconsiderate and heartless developer in appstore. I would caution you about the most important thing, Never ever in your life, expect their any form of support or refunding process. Because, Once you pay those dollars, Bleass will treat you as an non existent entity, who is not real and doesn't exist. No matter how , many times you beg for their assistance, you are nobody my dear friend. Regards. **Developer response:** Surprising comment since you've been praising our other instruments and effects? ### 2/5 — Not actually a fully functional harmoniser *2025-09-12* This is not a scale-aware harmoniser. If you want it to automatically add a harmony interval to a vocal, that actually fits the key you are in then this app doesn’t do it. It can only add in a fixed interval of a number of semi-tones which soon starts sounding weird and out of key as you ascend the scale. The only solution is to program or play midi notes yourself in the key you need. This is disappointing and inexplicable as surely it should not be too much of stretch as the autotune is aware of the correct key. ### 3/5 — Not for guitar players *2024-03-29* Easily could be a pedal replacer for a lot of live guitar performers…but it doesn’t have an option to listen to guitar and adapt like almost all modern vocal pedals. Danke dir fürs Teilen deiner Idee! ### 4/5 — More than a gimmick *2023-06-30, version 1.0* What this is not going to do is make a non singer into a lead vocalist, or anywhere close. On the other hand it can polish unwanted roughness, and as the Rooshie YT videos show, an actual singer can use this as an instant accompaniment. Everyone else can still get something out of the app as a gimmick plus. The gimmick; making very average singers sound better, the plus; what creative ways you can find to apply Voices to instruments, such as Riffler guitar. ### 5/5 — SICK!!!!! *2025-06-16* This app is incredible no complaints so far. So, the harmony mic is set up as follows: 1. SM58 mic into a small “vocal effects” mixer 2. Aux Out 1 of the “vocal effects” mixer into iRig input (This converts the XLR mic to 1/4” for the iRig input AND provides an adjustable stage of gain for the app) 3. iRig Out into FOH system with harmonies! This app has an AMAZINGLY CLEAN Signal to Noise ratio (at least with my PA setup). Doing this setup allows me to insert harmony whenever I want without having to try to tap on a foot pedal. I just move between the two mics as I like. I saw Laurie Anderson do this (multiple mics) many, many years ago and was “sold” on the idea ever since. Synth lovers will enjoy this plug.
