There are no customisation options at all, you’re stuck as John Appleseed and the statistics are basically useless. All that said, it is still a great way to test and improve your fitness, so I recommend it for that. ### 2/5 — What happened? *2025-12-07* Used to be good but now the bleeps are very difficult to hear ### 2/5 — Not the standard police bleep test. *2025-01-31* I have been using this app to train to pass the bleep test for an application to join the police. Thought I was smashing it until I did a practice run using the actual machine that I will be running to in a week’s time for my fitness test. The time between beeps on this app are too long and it gives you a small rest between levels. As I found today the real test doesn’t do this. The time between shuttles is correct; it’s run over 20 minutes. I’m in the armed forces and am pretty certain that this test is universal for time & distance. Those who are wondering why they found it easier on the day they took their test are most likely not accounting for the fact, their adrenaline under test conditions, was helping them along! The pace is too quick. I wanted the same test as the JRFT ### 1/5 — So many problems. *2023-08-24* Can not remove delete players or teams. No ability to remove players who are not at training on the day, therefore giving false results. No support whatsoever! Help link brings you to a site from 2011!! Shame, as could have been a brilliant app! ### 1/5 — Not to standard *2023-07-17* This app does not time to the 20M Euro 21 stage standard used for athletic benchmarking. Compared to the standard, completing level 10 on this app is 90 shuttles, or 4 shuttles short (drops a segment on levels 4,6,8, and 9) and about 30 seconds shorter than the actual standard, which is widely published and should complete level 10 with 94 shuttles and a time of 10:32. This is 80M shorter and 30 seconds shorter than standard at level 10 and it gets worse with more dropped segments. This makes this app a “cheater” app, so that very good athletes can show a score output higher than the standard test. Example a 11.2 on this app would be very close to a 10.9 on the actual 20 min beep test standard.
