### 5/5 — Pleasant relaxing color game

*2021-07-15, version 2.0.5*

Played through the first version and pleased to see that there’s a second game! Great game for when you’re waiting somewhere and don’t have internet. So rare to find a good game that is not built around a model of getting kids to steal their parents money. Definitely buying the full version when I get through all of the levels.

### 4/5 — Really calming and fun!

*2021-05-23, version 2.0.5*

I didn’t expect much from this game, but when I started playing, it was actually quite calming and fun. My only complaint is that the controls on the corners of the screen are a bit obscured because of how big my screen is.

### 5/5 — Wonderful, calm and relaxing color game

*2021-05-09, version 2.0.5*

Designers unite! The beautiful colors in this simple but challenging game are mesmerizing. Sudoku step aside, there’s something new on the block. This game is for the visually inclined. You have to be able to see the differences between the colors. This is a skill you can learn and here is a fun and relaxing way to learn to see colors. A little color theory will help if you get stuck.

### 4/5 — Really fun, but not formatted correctly

*2021-02-03, version 2.0.5*

It’s a fun app, but it’s not formatted properly, at least not for iPhone 12 mini. The time statistics are hidden behind the notch at the top of the screen, the controls on the bottom canter activate the home swipe, dragging the color squares into place pulls down the notifications menu, and the controls in the bottom corners are hidden off the screen.

### 4/5 — Almost great but very good

*2021-01-24, version 2.0.5*

Super fun and challenging. Would have given 5 stars if I could use the app controls in the corners but they are obscured on my iPhone and seem to be inaccessible so I have to quit the app and start again to get to settings, main menu, etc. Easy fix would be for the developers to move them in a bit.

### 5/5 — Love this game !!! only one problem

*2020-08-15, version 2.0.5*

I love this game so much this is my 3rd time restarting all the levels !! There’s just this oneeeee thing , I used to be able to refresh my solves with ads but now everytime it says “no ads available” it’s been saying this for months :( & I really be needing help sometimes on the new challenges that pop up everyday but one solve isn’t enough 😫

### 5/5 — Obsessed

*2020-05-23, version 2.0.5*

I have been using Blendoku for years and I will never get tired of it. It is challenging, relaxing, and fun. The colors make me happy, and as a watercolor artist I find that I am able to evaluate color for my art much better since I have been playing with this app. This app includes puzzles that are simple enough for the struggling beginner all the way to the most challenging for the veteran. Thank you so much for this app! I can hardly imagine my life without it!

### 5/5 — A creative’s essential!

*2020-04-27, version 2.0.5*

This game is a staple of creatives and brainiacs alike. When I’m not utilizing color pallets while drawing and creating, I’m discovering new and challenging levels in this game that expand my understanding of colors when I return to the drawing table. This game takes color theory in a challenging and fun direction. This game will forever be on any device I ever have.

### 5/5 — Are u guys ok?

*2020-04-26, version 2.0.5*

I have been loving this game every day since last summer. I look forward to that daily puzzle every day, but I haven’t seen one in a few days. It makes me feel like maybe this is the end of the world. I hope you guys are all ok, and that it isn’t because someone fell sick. Take care!

### 4/5 — Favorite game, but not updated for new phones

*2020-03-31, version 2.0.5*

Blendoku is my favorite game ever, but after I upgraded from an iPhone 7+ to an 11, the app is just not optimized for “full-screen” phones. All of the controls and settings are in the very bottom of the screen, and are obscured by the rounded corners and the home bar. If not for that, this would be a five star review!!

### 5/5 — BRILLIANT GAME

*2020-02-18, version 2.0.5*

I’ve had this game for years now. The original is my favorite, not quite used to the new layout on this second one yet. I paint for a living and the original is precisely dead on and dare I say actually taught me to judge even better on hues. Hoping this second one is just as addicting... so far, so good.

### 5/5 — incredible

*2020-02-04, version 2.0.5*

this & the original have been my favorite games since I got an iPhone. I feel like I’ve learned more about color by playing this game than I have through any class or tutorial. I love this game & I would do anything for a third ♥︎♥︎♥︎

### 5/5 — Therapeutic

*2020-01-03, version 2.0.5*

This game is absolutely amazing. I stopped playing it for awhile but now I realized how much of a stress release it was. I purchased all the levels so I don’t experience ads but before I know how irritating it is especially when you are concentrating so I recommend to put the ad after you beat the level instead of in between or while you’re working on a level. I have loved it since it came out but I would love to see more levels please.

UPDATE:
I lost all my data so I had to start over which wasn’t a the end of the world but unfavorable. Also I have an iPhone 11 and the app doesn’t really fit the screen so I would like that fixed.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — It’s really a 5-star game.

*2020-04-26, version 2.0.5*

I found out they abruptly stopped maintaining the game without any notice. I knew they have moved on to other game projects, but just stop releasing a daily challenge? Maybe it’s just my game and they don’t have time to help me. It’s a wonderful and addicting kind of game, but I loved to solve a daily puzzle and build a long streak. Now it’s over apparently. Just so everyone knows, they aren’t fixing it and they are moving onto other games, so don’t expect any new updates or fixes. Eventually it won’t be compatible with newer phones and devices because they don’t want to keep it up.

### 2/5 — Small Hard To Tap Buttons

*2021-09-18, version 2.0.5*

Cute but why are the buttons ridiculously tiny and half hidden at the bottom of the screen where you can hardly tap or even see them? This is honestly too hard to overlook and makes the game unnecessarily difficult. Please move the buttons up and make them a little bigger. The problem can’t even fixed by rotating the screen, the buttons are still half hidden in the corners after attempting that. I imagine this is probably really hard to use for anyone with dexterity and eyesight issues (like those in the 50 and above crowd). I mean I can’t even see the timer at the bottom because it’s hidden by the line Iphone decided to add at the bottom of the screen, that seems like a major design flaw, no?

### 2/5 — Not great with iPhone xr

*2020-01-11, version 2.0.5*

I like the game as much as the first version however the top is obscured due to the black notch (where the selfie camera is)on the top of the iPhone screen so I can't see my time, only what the world average is. Also when selecting colors close to the top of the screen I often end up pulling down my notifications window instead.

Update: hate the ads that there’s no way to get out of other than clicking through to the App Store in the pretense of downloading their latest games.

### 3/5 — Cut off buttons, but still fun?

*2021-12-25, version 2.0.5*

I’ve had this game for maybe an hour, but I think I’ll have to get rid of it. It’s fun and interesting, but for whatever reason, I can’t adjust the aspect that’s been set to cut off half of the buttons — including basic menus — and the white line at the bottom in either orientation is also in the way. I can’t hit the little menu button in the bottom left corner; if I need to reset a puzzle or anything, I have to close the app entirely and go back in, when it will BRIEFLY give me those options reopening the same puzzle. The screen is too small for how wide the aspect of this app is set, and there’s nothing to be done about it on our end. This game has a lot of levels and the puzzles are neat, but basic settings/menu accessibility is extremely poor.

### 3/5 — Awesome idea, confusing execution.

*2020-04-12, version 2.0.5*

it’s not like the interface is completely pictorial so what was the purpose of leaving out a descriptive word or two...In the settings screen there are little icons and only a few of them are clear what the hell they mean, what is the squiggly line? And the stars? Do I want them on or off? What does the magnifying glass do exactly, it’s supposed to help but I dont know how......I’m so stuck on the squiggly line thing I can’t think of the other stuff...good practice for color blending...I think this is only one of few apps like it so I’m sure it has its pros but I don’t have a lot to compare to. It functions properly. Not clearly though.

### 3/5 — Fun game with some glitches

*2019-09-13, version 2.0.5*

I really enjoy the game so much more than ones like Bejeweled but the top and corners are obscured and I can’t see everything. Playing in landscape helps, you can see the top but the corners are still partially obscured. I emailed the developers and they were very nice and quick with a reply saying they don’t like it but I’m guessing they can’t fix it - the last update is seven months ago.
There is a little magnifying glass for in a corner if you get stuck but I can’t tell HOW it’s supposed to work. I think it locks a tile but most of the time it just changes size, nothing else happens. I wish there were a regular tutorial or something so I could read about that and the other things I can’t see all the way.
Fix that and kill the ads and I might give it five stars and buy it, if I could just do a one time purchase for the entire game. Buying levels or solves at a 1.99 a pop is too much for the simplicity of the game, especially with these glitches and the last update being seven months ago.

### 3/5 — Lacking option to change music

*2019-09-09, version 2.0.5*

I really love Blendoku 2, I can play and re-play it easily. The music is calming and a big part of the game’s ambiance for me. The big problem is that you can’t change the music track. The one I just unlocked via level up bonuses is absolutely mind-numbingly aggravating and annoying to no end. I hate listening to it and don’t enjoy or play as much when I’ve turned off the music in settings. As far as I can see in the menus there is no way to change the music other than to unlock a new track (IF there even is another). It’s a HUGE letdown, especially after buying the expansion packs -I have a whole bunch of puzzles to play but only if I can play in dead silence.

### 3/5 — Good app, but Painting levels inaccurate

*2018-12-09, version 1.11.1*

I enjoy this app for maybe 5-10 minutes at a time, before it gets a little boring. Overall a nice, relaxing up that can actually make you more sensitive to colors around you.

However, the painting levels really make no sense at all. To test it, try this: squint your eyes while holding the app at arm’s length and a analyze the painting you must arrange colors for. The way that the colors are actually situated in the painting IS NOT what this app considers the correct order of the colors. This is really disappointing to art buffs. Oh well. Maybe someone will develop a puzzle app like this just for painting analysis, but with correct color order in the solutions.

### 4/5 — Great concept and music- poor interface

*2022-04-07, version 2.0.5*

Let me start by saying that this game is extremely addicting and has GREAT music! The music is both relaxing and sophisticated- highly recommend turning the sound on.

However, the interface has some updating to do. The screen is too large which renders you unable to click some buttons to use rewards. It also makes you click an arrow to go to the next level, which seems uncommon.

Other than that, great game!

### 4/5 — Beautiful, but needs an update

*2021-09-13, version 2.0.5*

I loved this game on my old phone, but it hasn’t been updated to fit the newer phone screens. I have an iPhone XR, and all of the buttons and text that sit near the edge of the screen are cut off. If the developers could fix this I’d be so happy.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Amazing work

*2023-01-11, version 2.0.5*

This game is an amazing one. A favorite no advertisements and overall calming. If you had a stressful day at school or work then this is a good way to help with that. Also this game has great varieties of difficulty's compared to other games like this. I hope you enjoy and have a great day.

### 5/5 — There is no reason not to get it

*2022-06-09, version 2.0.5*

I love it so much! It looks amazing, it has no ads, and you can play with friends! ITS ALSO FREE! HELLO! Literally the only thing keeping you from downloading is your storage and this app takes almost NONE! Get it now. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️solid five stars

### 5/5 — Love it

*2022-04-27, version 2.0.5*

Love the puzzles—helps me destress, & the interface is intuitive. I really appreciate that there are no ads or a million solitications to buy stuff. The screen doesn’t fit 100% on an iPhone 13 Mini though. Once that’s fixed, it will be perfect.

### 5/5 — super fun, lovely game when youre bored.

*2022-04-01, version 2.0.5*

first of all, i would like to thank my buddy Josh for recommending me this game, Josh if your reading this, hi its me Ray. the game is SUPER FUN but its nut like addictively fun, which is what i like, i play it whenever im bored or whenever i just want to play it, Multiplayer is SUPER FUN. I HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone who likes puzzles. 15/10

### 5/5 — Just so satisfying

*2022-01-24, version 2.0.5*

Honestly that’s it. At the end of every level when you get all those colors in order it is just SO SATISFYING to see the color shift. And I know when you first start playing the levels are really easy. Fret not. That doesn’t last forever. I have definitely started getting stuck on levels more and more frequently, they definitely slowly up the difficulty as you play on. Great game!

### 5/5 — My absolute favorite game of all time!

*2022-01-16, version 2.0.5*

I love this game - it is a puzzle, it’s teaches you about color and it’s sort of a matching game, all in one. Also fun to compete with time and get a perfect score with rewards! Great for anyone especially artists and graphic designers!

### 5/5 — Creative and amazing!

*2021-11-04, version 2.0.5*

hello anyone seeing this review!
i usually don’t play mobile app games, but this one is definitely in my top 5. I never could have come up with an idea like this, where you move tiles to make gradients. ⟟ don’t really know what else to write, so bye!

### 5/5 — Best Color Game Available

*2021-10-22, version 2.0.5*

I couldn't be happier with this game. It's in my dreams. I've tried so many color blending games, and I keep coming back to this one even after getting all the badges on every level.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2021-10-11, version 2.0.5*

I absolutely love this app. It’s so relaxing and a great puzzle game to play to unwind and just watch some tv. I’ve restarted multiple times. Purchased all of the levels and currently I’m trying to get perfects and best my times on all of them now. I’m hoping this will get an update at some point to add some new levels. It really is an amazing game to play to relax.

### 5/5 — Only game I’ll play

*2021-09-27, version 2.0.5*

I don’t really care for phone games or video games in general. I’ll download a game to try to kill time and end up deleting it a day or two later. But this game is different. I’ve had this game on both my current phone and my 5S before that. So for at least 5 years I think. I’ll stop playing for a while but I always come back to it. I LOVE it. I love the music. The colors. Just everything about it. I’m so sad to see that there hasn’t been an update in so long and I hope that the developers haven’t given up on this game.
