It picked a store 5 kms away when I was inside a store placing the order. None of the baristas could do it in store. If you go to their FAQ on the app, it redirects you to a link that doesn’t work at all. I tried contacting Blenz and got no response from them. Starbucks app is way better. ### 1/5 — Making me not want to go to blenz *2023-11-10, version 1.0.4* I decided to switch from Starbucks to Blenz because of Starbucks’ support of Palestine and oh my god there is zero user friendly-ness on this app. You can’t add funds to it, unlike Starbucks. You can’t add a card either, and even if you add a store to favourites you still have to search to find it on the app. Horrible. Plus, why does it take so long to get a free drink!!! Considering how expensive it is for the drinks at blenz the fact that this is how the app/the loyalty system works it’s very very bad and I would not recommend it to anyone. Blenz please do something to fix this. I don’t want to be shown coffee shops in the US and Vancouver Island as my suggested, considering I live in Vancouver. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work! *2023-10-30, version 1.0.4* Love my BLENZ drinks but the app doesn’t work…and the customer support is unhelpful. Can’t place an order for a drink - keeps saying payment card post code doesn’t match. Tried twice now (a week apart). Tried three different cards. Called customer service who first say I can’t order a small drink on the app. Then to try a different card (tried 3 different branded cards already!) and then they have a glitch right now (what the same glitch as last week also??) and then to try re-installing app. Have given up - no drink is worth this much effort and they clearly aren’t interested in having a functioning app. ### 1/5 — Buggy *2023-08-09, version 1.0.4* Haven’t been able to use my app. It opens and then says server/network issue. My phone and other apps work just fine so there must be a bug in the app. Please fix this. The app insists I’m in Vancouver but I’m not. The staff don’t even know how to use it. Absolutely terrible design. How do I even redeem my rewards? ### 1/5 — No Login Option *2026-03-09, version 1.1.1* If you get a new phone, or change your number, and have to reinstall the Blenz app, it doesn’t give you the option to login. When the registration verification email didn’t send, the link to resend the verification email was hidden in the manage gift cards page, which makes no sense. Plus free birthday drinks are limited to americanos, teas, lattes and hot chocolates, so if you want a birthday cappachillo then you are out of luck. The app is only worth it if you are a regular customer who drinks lattes, americanos, or tea lattes. I don’t think anyone has really tested the app as it is not user friendly or staff friendly. Some of the apps problems from 4 year old reviews still haven’t been fixed. The Blenz app needs a complete rework and way more testing, as well as regular updates. A couple suggestions/wishes… 1) locations on map do not allow me to sort to the list and there does not appear to be a “my location” option to zoom in on where I am. 2) Being able to save my drinks/customizations and re-order based on the drinks (and not just my past orders) would be awesome. I love the BLENZ drinks, just the app needs some help. ### 3/5 — Room for improvement *2021-11-30, version 1.0.1* I’m a fan of BLENZ and so I’m happy to see a loyalty program using your new app. I’m sure eventually all the locations will be on board soon. I do note that the rewards are rather challenging to achieve. We get 10 points per dollar spent. A free Americano or brewed tea at your lowest tier requires 1000 points, or spending $100, and only medium size at that. At $2.50 a coffee, that’s 40 cups. A look at other program will show that most will provide a reward after about 10 coffees. Please have a closer look and see if you can adjust your reward system. Thank you! ### 2/5 — Dated app; not seamless with franchise locations *2024-06-21, version 1.0.4* As of this writing the last update was a year prior updating a QR code system. It seems that franchisees sometimes need to be told on arrival that a mobile order was placed, which takes away from the convenience of ordering on app. It also punts your order 10-15 minutes ahead at a minimum, even if you plan to arrive sooner. The interface is not intuitive, is very bare bones, and does not reside in this decade.
