I tried removing and reinstalling the app to no avail. Also, Similar to another review, on the timer screen, you can’t view the writing as it’s white writing on a white background? Bizarre. I’m going to be asking to be sent another unit to see if that works with the connectivity issues! ### 2/5 — Updates Needed *2021-12-05, version 17.3* (Post 5-Dec-2021) The app hasn’t been updated in a year. While the basic functions work, there are annoying issues. Example: It does not adapt to Dark Mode which renders the User Interface unusable when you iPhone is in Dark Mode. The interface refreshes every time you navigate away from the app. So if you need to force you iPhone into Light Mode and return the UI refreshes. That would not be a problem, but the refresh is slow. I no longer recommend the app given the length of time since the last update. ### 3/5 — Surprised it works as well as it does 🤨 *2021-09-18* As long as you put enough tension on the cord it grabs. The app connects easy and only took me about 30 to set up. Like everything is a gamble. I started with one to see how it went and for what I need it too do it’s fine. ### 3/5 — Need to add a guide *2021-05-25, version 17.3* This app is helpful to configure my blind. It would be nice to include a guide. The logic of winter/summer more is not clear, specifically the logic between the time and light value. Do the time settings define the period light sensing is active? Can the close time be before the open time (i.e. to keep the shade open in the night)? Does the "light value to open" opens the shade when the light is lower than the setting? I also suggest the developer to add a display of current light value on the status page. ### 2/5 — How do I reset my password? *2021-05-09, version 17.3* I forgot my password. Please let me know how to reset it. ### 3/5 — Mostly okay *2021-05-01, version 17.3* It’s not a solid app that’s well written. Hard to get set up and funky places to hit save but eventually you can get it programmed. One thing that is an issue is the automatic summer winter mode to detect daylight won’t let you set open and close times that are backwards (open at dark, close at light) but that’s exactly what I need because the motors are attached to a sun screen on my back porch. So I do want them lowered in the bright light and raised all the way up (ie stored) when it gets darker but this app won’t let me do that. ### 2/5 — Can’t read text *2020-12-20* When trying to set timer to open blind or close blind the time digits can not be seen as the background is white and the digits are also white , I’m using the app on iPhone and iPad with the same issues, also when adjusting the same timers the time shown is the live time not the time you originally set the timers at which I find annoying ### 1/5 — Swip blind function not working properly *2020-08-23* The swipe blind up or down function doesn’t work properly, it always left about 4 inches from the end of the blind. We tried to set all the upper and bottom limits, high and wheels size, tried all possible settings but it just doesn’t work properly. However, the buttons for open and close works fine. It just the swipe blind function doesn’t work properly. ### 1/5 — Timer problem *2020-08-19, version 17.1* I setup timer to full close the blind, but it stopes earlier 5 cm earlier, so I need to open the app and tap close, to close it properly. It is not user friendly. I have bought 2 units from WalMart and I guess I will need to return them, as I am not able to have them work with my cell phone. ### 1/5 — Started good ended bad *2023-07-16* This app stopped working after a while even after I updated it. Developer offered to send a new one. I accepted the offer. 6 months and many follow ups later it hasn’t arrived. Seems like a scam to avoid refunding. Worthless product. Landfill. ### 1/5 — Does not connect anymore *2022-01-10, version 17.3* I got 3 AM43 drives and initially was able to pair them and everything g was working fine. Then all of a sudden the drives still show in the app but I cannot access 2 of them. For one the old automation is partially working and for the other it doesn’t. They are all fully charged - I tried to uninstall the app and delete the app data. However, the 2 drives cannot be paired again. A big waste of my time and currently I can only use 2 of the drives manually. In one Thread it states to pair with the Tuya app - I tried all the BLE drives on that app and it does not work either. The 2 drives also don’t go into pairing mode after pressing the up and set button/ or down and set button for 3 seconds. ### 1/5 — Bad *2021-01-04, version 17.3* Really bad app. Alarm doesn’t work ### 1/5 — Awful *2020-10-08, version 17.3* I was never even able to connect the blind motor to the app. Constant password errors without being able to set up to begin with. ### 1/5 — No longer works *2020-09-28, version 17.3* Ive had this app for over a year and it was never pretty or anything, but it worked. Now all of a sudden as of 9/28 the blinds no longer pair with the app. Can’t even make it past the connection page. It does not configure properly. It loses data. It fails even the most basic tasks. The app is good now. Thanks for this update. ### 5/5 — Works and good value *2019-09-24* Bought the AM34 blinds drive from Zemismart from China. Arrived in good condition. Unit installed in 20 mins. It works! Yes, it is not fast. Motor is strong enough for Roman blinds, and is quiet. Good solid build. Bluetooth works. Don’t have the bridge, but iPad is always near the blinds anyway. App is straightforward and easy to understand. Now, do I buy another 6 for the other blinds? I think I will! For this price it actually is worth considering. I like the swipe function to open/close blinds but now timer is set up I hardly ever touch it and just use the timer. Be warned that you'll need to remember a password. Developers- is there any way of recovering or resetting this password? I have a new phone and cannot connect to the blinds to change the timer setting. Thanks ### 4/5 — Good, but limited features. *2021-09-05* This app was fairly easy to set up, after reading the instructions that came with my blind motors. The app works good for me, but would benefit from the following enhancements: 1. Ability to add more than 7 blinds. 2. Ability to select times when in dark mode. 3. Add Alexa capability, so others within my household can access the controls. 4. Add more than 4 actions under blind timing list. 5. Allow the user to duplicate settings e.g. blind timings to multiple blinds. 6. Add password hint in Bluetooth setup (8888) as not everyone reads instructions. Hopefully some of these enhancements will be added in future versions. Many thanks. ### 4/5 — Overall pretty good *2020-10-14* The app generally works pretty well. Great that now it auto connects on opening.
