## What is Blind Pear?

Blind Pear is a personality-first dating app for adults 18+ who want thoughtful connections before photos shape first impressions.

DISCOVER COMPATIBLE PEOPLE
• Build a profile around your values, interests, prompts, and relationship goals.
• Browse compatibility-ranked introductions filtered by your preferences.
• Connect after mutual interest and start a private conversation.

REVEAL WITH CONSENT
Profile photos stay hidden during discovery. In an eligible matched conversation, either person can request a reveal after both people have sent five messages. Photos are revealed only when both people agree.

SAFETY AND CONTROL
• Report or block from profiles and conversations.
• Pause or permanently delete your account in Settings.
• Control matching preferences and optional notifications.
• Adults only: date of birth is checked before account creation.

OPTIONAL AI MATCHING
You may separately choose whether Google Gemini processes your profile text and up to four photos to create a private compatibility vector. This consent is off by default, can be withdrawn in Settings, and Blind Pear works without it.

Blind Pear is free on iOS. This release contains no purchases or subscriptions.
