## What is Blindfold?

Blindfold removes the noise from the web: ads, trackers, cookie pop-ups, and autoplay junk, in Safari on your iPhone and iPad.

THE WEB, WITHOUT THE GARBAGE
• 219,000+ blocking rules across three lists: Ads, Privacy, and Annoyances
• Updated over the air every day, no app update needed
• Pages load faster, use less data, and stop jumping around

NEVER TAP "REJECT ALL" AGAIN
When a cookie consent pop-up appears, Blindfold answers it for you, and it actually says no: your choice is recorded, not just hidden.

ON-DEVICE AI THAT LEARNS NEW ADS
When an ad slips through, Apple's on-device model studies it after the page loads and writes a precise new rule. Everything happens on your device, and you can review or delete every rule the AI creates.

MORE WAYS TO CLEAN UP
• Block "Promoted" and "Sponsored" posts in feeds
• Remove late-appearing pop-ups and unlock frozen scrolling
• Defend against ad-blocker detection nags
• Zap any element by hand, and let AI hide the ones like it
• Import filter lists or subscribe to your own

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No accounts. No data collection. No one can see what you browse, not even us. Your rules and settings sync privately through iCloud, and stats are counted on your device, for your eyes only.

Blindfold is a paid app with a free trial: one month free, then a small yearly subscription. A monthly plan and a one-time lifetime purchase are also available. Family Sharing included.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-22

Blindfold Everywhere now blocks ads and trackers system-wide, across every app, not just Safari. Turn it on once and it keeps working quietly in the background, checking requests privately on your device.

We also made the app faster to launch, lighter on memory, and gentler on your battery, with the in-page helper scripts now loading only on the sites that actually need them.

### 1.0 — 2026-07-24

No release notes.
