The in-app QR code reader kept sending me directly to the App Store instead of connecting me to the charger. I tried using the generated code instead, and it told me the code could not be used at that time. I also tried paying with my credit card, but the charger wouldn’t accept it. I used the exact same card an hour later for lunch with no problem. Strangely, the charger can read the card through my iPhone Wallet, but it can’t find its own App and process through it. Either fix the system or get another vendor in here. I live in Florida and am a magnet for mosquitoes, so standing around getting eaten alive while repeatedly trying to log in and start a charge is ridiculous—especially since I created an account a long time ago. I think I’ve used Blink Charging stations three or four times now, and I’ve had essentially the same frustrating experience every time. Unfortunately, Blink is the only charging option in this parking structure. If Blink didn’t have a monopoly on this location, I’d drop it like a bad habit. ### 1/5 — No longer working *2026-08-11, version 3.1.39* App is no longer allowing me to start a charging session after recent update. First of all, the app could not locate those particular chargers even though I was literally standing in Front of one. I had to find the serial number and type it in Secondly, it is NOT a supercharger and was going to take 6+ hours to complete the charge and would not have been finished until 4:00am. It was unclear if idling charges would apply and I was not about to wake up at 4 in the morning while I was on vacation, so I got in my car and drove 6 minutes to the nearest Tesla supercharger. Much less headache. 20 minutes of my life I will not get back. ### 1/5 — Nothing happened *2026-08-09, version 3.1.37* Plugged it into the car, clicked start on the app. There was a count down, I walk away. Checked app and no charge was going. So I stopped and gave up ### 1/5 — Garbage *2026-08-08, version 3.1.37* Not worth the time to bother setting up. Took 10 minutes to get all the way set up and to with the charger and then it wouldn’t work anyway. No one wants this, get rid of this and just put a card reader on the charger, like every gas pump on earth. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t support Apple Pay *2026-08-08, version 3.1.37* Why does EV charging have to be this bad? With gas I go to a pump with my physical card and leave with fuel. Whit this horrible company I need to provide my email, cc number, address and I don’t know what else. I can’t just use Apple Pay for a streamline experience (at the station or through the app it forces you to register your cc number).
