First of all, the app could not locate those particular chargers even though I was literally standing in Front of one. I had to find the serial number and type it in Secondly, it is NOT a supercharger and was going to take 6+ hours to complete the charge and would not have been finished until 4:00am. It was unclear if idling charges would apply and I was not about to wake up at 4 in the morning while I was on vacation, so I got in my car and drove 6 minutes to the nearest Tesla supercharger. I have deleted and re-dl the app but it still happens. I was charged more than double what I would have paid using a fast charger, even though this was a very slow Level 2 charger that only charged my car about 40% in 8 hours. To make things worse, I had already paid for parking for the entire day, yet Blink charged me an additional $52 in “occupancy fees” just because my car remained plugged in overnight. When I contacted customer support, they simply said the location decides the pricing. That’s not a reasonable excuse. If Blink allows hosts to set excessive occupancy fees without clear warnings or safeguards, customers are the ones who end up paying the price. Charging over $50 in occupancy fees for a slow overnight charger—on top of paid parking—is completely unreasonable. This pricing model feels misleading and unfair. I won’t be using Blink again unless they implement better protections against these kinds of charges. ### 3/5 — Ok for Tesla *2026-07-22, version 3.1.37* From 23% to 98% took over 5 hours and cost over thirty five dollars. The in-app QR code reader kept sending me directly to the App Store instead of connecting me to the charger. I tried using the generated code instead, and it told me the code could not be used at that time. I also tried paying with my credit card, but the charger wouldn’t accept it. I used the exact same card an hour later for lunch with no problem. Strangely, the charger can read the card through my iPhone Wallet, but it can’t find its own App and process through it. Either fix the system or get another vendor in here. I live in Florida and am a magnet for mosquitoes, so standing around getting eaten alive while repeatedly trying to log in and start a charge is ridiculous—especially since I created an account a long time ago. I think I’ve used Blink Charging stations three or four times now, and I’ve had essentially the same frustrating experience every time. Unfortunately, Blink is the only charging option in this parking structure.
