### 4/5 — I thought I could not copy long outputs to clipboard, but…

*2026-07-06, version 18.6.2*

It would be nice to have a way to highlight and copy a long prompt, rather than pinch to zoom out.

### 4/5 — Equipo de blink

*2026-06-06, version 18.6.2*

Tengo una pregunta.. a la aplicación se le puede instalar una IA con agentes.. si la respuesta es si me pueden decir como

### 5/5 — Solid app, worth the money

*2026-05-22, version 18.6.2*

Not sure why this has such a low score, it’s definitely solid and I have been using it for years. I prefer it to anything else on iPad and iPhone. Mosh support is the killer feature to me. I don’t use much else that this has in terms of features - just sliding between different mosh sessions that are connected over tailscale to different containers on Proxmox. It’s a solid setup and everything works well with keyboards, etc.

### 5/5 — GREAT!

*2026-05-19, version 18.6.2*

It works as described, has some issues like any other software but it is better than MOST if not ALL like it in the Apple Store! Gets the job done

### 2/5 — Maybe gonna fix on iPadOS 27.

*2026-04-02, version 18.5.1*

A whole year almost passed and the bug with the traffic light window buttons on iPadOS 26 still not been fixed.

### 5/5 — Good

*2026-03-26, version 18.5.0*

Good

### 1/5 — Not a great CLI experience at all

*2026-03-25, version 18.5.0*

Maybe this was once good, but the UX is absolutely terrible and unusable now. Can’t believe they’re charging for this in this state.

### 1/5 — Forced Upsell

*2026-03-22, version 18.4.4*

Seemingly removed one-time buy option and forced to purchase an annual license in order to use the application. Seems you are now unable to use the application at all unless you purchase.

### 2/5 — …

*2026-03-20, version 18.4.4*

A whole year almost passed and the bug with the traffic light window buttons on iPadOS 26 still not been fixed.

### 1/5 — 유료로 구매한것 같은데 구독으로 갑자기 바뀌었네요

*2026-03-20*

구독제로 바뀌었네요;
유료로 구매한 사람들은 호구인가요?

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Deceptive

*2026-07-07, version 18.6.2*

The description states, “Blink Shell Classic $0.00”. There is no “Classic” option. There is no “Free trial.” There is no $9.99 version. It is all a lie. You must pay $19.99 before you can get past the app’s initial screen. Blink on that.

### 1/5 — Says free trial.. rip off

*2026-06-22, version 18.6.2*

It says it’s a free trial but it attempts to charge. Luckily all final transactions needs my approval via text otherwise instant denial. I do not recommend this app. Rip off and they are legit scamming and stealing. App Store shouldn’t allow this.

### 1/5 — It was a good ride

*2026-06-19, version 18.6.2*

I thought I bought it years ago, but now it means nothing and it locked me out with a pay wall. I understand the need to pay for development, but it could have been handled more gracefully.

### 1/5 — It’s paid

*2026-06-03, version 18.6.2*

This is paid version but you need to download it first to know.

### 1/5 — 좆같은 회사

*2026-05-16*

결제를 2번 함 하나 취소 했더니 못 사용하게 함 다들 사용하지 마세요.

### 1/5 — Predatory trial model

*2026-05-15, version 18.6.2*

“14 day trial” requires you to sign up for an auto-renewing subscription, placing the onus on the user to unsubscribe or be charged. This is a predatory dark pattern.

### 1/5 — Forced trial or upgrade

*2026-04-30, version 18.6.1*

The tool literally forces you to enter their trail for their paid version or upgrade to it. COMPLETELY USELESS APP unless you are looking for a gateway to a paid product. Use anything else. Companies that operate this way should be punished.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work without subscription

*2026-04-30, version 18.6.1*

You should mention that it doesn’t work without subscription. Such a waste of time

### 1/5 — Refused refund

*2026-04-10, version 18.5.1*

Their app doesn’t have proper mosh support and they refused to refund the yearly fee

### 1/5 — Mosh support is subpar, refused refund

*2026-04-10, version 18.5.1*

Skip this app and just use Moshi, a much better experience and they won’t rip you off.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — My terminal

*2026-09-01, version 18.7.0*

Says it all.

### 5/5 — Either love it or hate it? I loved it.

*2026-08-16, version 18.6.3*

Based on the ratings, it seems that users either love or hate it. I am pleased with it, as it allows me to remotely open a terminal that is connected to my remote MacBook Pro. A terminal is not an interface for the faint-of-heart, but for more technically oriented users. It required some work on my MacBook Pro, though it was a breeze as ClaudeCode held my hand throughout the process. With this app now I can open a ClaudeCode terminal in my iPhone, or iPad, via SSH or MOSH, and work on it as if I was directly sitting in front my Mac. Worth $20/year in my opinion. Again: it requires some work on the Mac side. Based on the few reviews I read, seems to me, that those complaining either did not know how to set up the Mac side correctly, and/or do not want to pay for it. I have TailScale on my Mac, which made it easier though.

### 5/5 — The one you’re looking for

*2026-08-03, version 18.6.3*

This thing basically works right every time without any unnecessary bells or whistles. The $20 annual was a no-brainer.

### 5/5 — i

*2026-07-30, version 18.6.3*

❤️❤️❤️

### 5/5 — the best

*2026-07-29*

Best in its class, can't live without it now

### 5/5 — John

*2026-07-21, version 18.6.3*

Great stuff

### 5/5 — Simply Amazing for a Developer

*2026-07-01, version 18.6.2*

I’m running a software startup on top of a full time job. I’ve used every terminal under the sun for MacOS and this is truly the only one I feel at home on. It just works the way I the way I expect and love that it has it’s own shell that you use to connect or send commands. I love how mosh keeps things connected. When I go on lunch breaks or can get away from my day job for a few minutes I use my iPad via cellular/tailscale and have no hiccups. Being able to grab a lightweight device and complete 95% of what I can do with a MBP by connecting to my MBP is just amazing. The VSCode integration works well too however using neovim/tmux on the MacBook via Mosh is my preferred flow. The MacBook has to stay connected to peripherals required to validate my code changes and now I can work remote and don’t have to splurge on a higher end Mac mini or studio or carry a ton of stuff with me:)

### 5/5 — Fixed all issues I had with Termius

*2026-06-09, version 18.6.2*

This terminal does not have any of the occasional glitching that I would get with termius using nvim & tmux. Makes better use of space on my 11inch ipad. People complaining and downvoting due to the price are really making a disservice to the community, because the app is genuinely good. $20 a year is nothing for the amount of value offered.

### 5/5 — Brilliant

*2026-06-02, version 18.6.2*

Just works so well

### 5/5 — Best mobile terminal by far

*2026-05-29, version 18.6.2*

Absolutely top 1
