I don't mind paying for an app if I'm going to use it. But paying for an entire year for something I haven't had a chance to try over an extended period is out of the question. The way I see it, you're cashing in on peoples' aspirations and good intentions, rather than on value delivered consistently, month over month. It's much nicer to spend your time learning new knowledge with key ideas from books, rather than spending hours browsing social media." But then it turns out the photo is 97% fake ai misleading to be a real review and that’s untrustworthy to me so uninstalled instantly, if they do that just on the setup screen then what do they actually put into your minds ### 1/5 — Sneaky *2026-08-10, version 11.28.0* This app doesn’t tell you that it is a subscription until you have filled in a questionnaire - it should be honest and state In app purchases on the listing in the App Store. ### 1/5 — Terrible Customer Service *2026-08-09, version 11.27.0* Don’t expect a refund if accidentally let your yearly subscription roll-over. ### 1/5 — cannot recommend Blinkist *2026-08-03, version 11.26.0* First, the library is surprisingly limited! Many popular and key titles I searched for simply aren't available. Second, the customer support is a complete dead end. Whenever you run into an issue and reach out for help, all you get are canned responses along the lines of "sorry you're running into this problem," with absolutely zero action taken to actually fix or resolve the issue. Apologies don't solve problems. Save your money and look for better alternatives. ### 1/5 — I was willing to subscribe *2026-07-23, version 11.25.0* I did the free trial and really liked it, but then when it came up at $140 I cancelled because it’s too expensive. I went to cancel and it gave me $70 off so I was willing to subscribe, however, after navigating through the billing prompts I got to a dead end. When I contacted support, I got an AI response that was not helpful. So I just cancelled completely. I signed up for a 7 day trail and on day 5 canceled but still got charged the full amount. It’s never one to one comparison between man and woman in work places. Actions that are considered admirable for man is considered troubling for woman. This needs to change. It will need first recognition to identify that this bias exists.
