### 1/5 — App is broken

*2025-12-17, version 1.2.0*

Unable to log in due to an API issue for months

### 1/5 — Unusable now

*2025-11-04, version 1.2.0*

Before it worked now I can’t even logging

### 2/5 — App no longer functional

*2025-10-30, version 1.2.0*

Used to work well but now says api remote no longer available

### 1/5 — Suddenly stopped working

*2025-10-26, version 1.2.0*

Had the devices for over a year and a half. Moved to a new place with a new WiFi network and suddenly I can’t add devices, as the app locks up when I try.

Great until about a month ago.

### 1/5 — Totally Unintuitive App only half works

*2025-10-23, version 1.2.0*

Gosh I’ve had the BlissLights Sky Lite Evolve for over a year, created an account with BlissHome and it worked with the app and with Alexa for a little while. But then and it just suddenly stopped working with Alexa. I can see it on my network, although investigation through the app tells me that the IP address it gets is not even in the range of the network that we have so I’m perplexed as to how I’m even able to turn it on and off because my router sees it but reports an IP address that does make sense so I suspect it’s the app itself that has problems — not the device or our network. Beyond the connectivity issue the app itself is totally obtuse. For now I can’t do much with it other than turn the unit on and turn it off, and change a few settings. I still can’t link it back with Alexa. I get an error that doesn’t tell me very much. I’ve tried decoupling it from Alexa and re-coupling it and that doesn’t work either. Based on the dismal ratings the company’s linking skill gets online at Amazon I’m not alone. Someone needs to spend some serious time taking a look at how they’ve set these devices up because right now I’m not very happy with it. For the life of me I don’t understand why manufacturers don’t get that their apps used with these devices require as much attention to detail as do the devices themselves. And since they’ve come out with a newer projection device you would think would use the same app for control, they’ve written a completely different and new app for that device. It says they’ve pretty much abandoned this app. I know I’d remember if it had been updated anytime within recent memory. So disappointing.

### 1/5 — PLEASE FIX

*2025-09-02, version 1.2.0*

It stopped pairing with my alexa in July and has not worked since. I can still control in the app but the value is being able to pair it with smart home device. When it worked it was great.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work like it used to

*2025-08-13, version 1.2.0*

Won’t work properly. Moved to a new house, set it up and the schedule won’t work.

### 1/5 — Downgraded to one star

*2025-08-09*

From only two, before.

This app hasn’t been updated in three years.

Can’t recommend Blisslights at all, now. Much better products on the market, with apps that work, and are updated.

Look elsewhere for lighting!

I have over a dozen Evolves, four Velarus lights, and four H20 globes…and this app almost makes me regret buying every single one of them.

I don’t have the connection problems other reviewers seem to have; initial setup was straightforward enough.

BUT.

If the wifi goes out, the devices will not automatically reconnect. Which means I have to reconnect around 20 devices every…time…that…happens.

Unacceptable. Govee figured this out, why can’t Blisslights?!

The globes simply do not respond to the app except in the most random fashion. I have four of those; setting each one to the same theme produces four separate results, none of them correct.

I also have a Blisslights Radia. That one often just crashes the app entirely.

In general, this app is buggy, slow, and half-baked — many options don’t work, entire sections are labeled in Chinese, and the whole thing us just sloppy.

Boooo! Fix this, Blisslights! Your lights are great, but this app is terrible.

### 1/5 — Didn’t work

*2025-08-07, version 1.2.0*

I can’t even add the device. I’ve turned everything off and on, uninstalled app reinstalled etc. I knew it was too good to be true for $19.99. Wish there was a zero star since I can’t do anything.

### 4/5 — It does work eventually - Tips

*2025-08-04, version 1.2.0*

Took hours to get this version 1.2.0 to work. They don't make it easy.
First - you MUST "link your email". It doesn't work with Apple's "Hide My Email" - I used a burner gmail and it worked fine.
My advice is to look around the app (find the Bluetooth switch under EZ mode - you need both Bluetooh AND a 2.4 GHz WiFi. You won't see the color adjustment screens shown here until you link an email. Go thru all the apps settings - privacy, notifications, etc. You need to turn everything on, but you can opt out of advertising and such.
They want every permission, you have to agree to all kinds of stuff, it's non-intuitive (even after you get it working) but it does work to adjust all the settings and save it as a scene.
I have the Evolve wichi was a $20 bargain on Amazon. It was hard to get the colors, speed, and brightness of the blue stars as subtle as I wanted, but I got close - it'll work. Good Luck!
