## What is Blits Video Maker?

Blits is a camera that records seconds. Every tap is exactly one second. And Blits stitches all those seconds together into one film, automatically.

Turn a holiday, a festival, a weekend with friends or a whole year into a film you will actually watch again. No editing, no fuss. Just tap now and then.

HOW IT WORKS
Open Blits and the camera is live. Tap the button: one second. Prefer two or three seconds? Set it per film, right on the home screen. Every second lands at the end of your film. Done is done.

FILMS
Make a film per occasion: Italy 2026, Sam's birthday, My year. Switch the active film with one tap. Films can run for years or a single weekend.

WATCH AND ADJUST
Your film plays instantly, no export needed. The strip below shows every second: tap to jump, drag to reorder, remove a second that did not work (and bring it back if you change your mind).

IMPORT
Already have a video or photo? Pick the best second from Photos with the second picker. Photos become a still second.

STAMPS
Optionally add the date, time or place to your seconds, in ten sticker designs. Per film, or just on one second.

FILM TOGETHER
Invite friends or family to a film, with a link or a code. Everyone who joins adds their own seconds to that same film; as the maker you decide the order and can hide a second that does not fit. Every member can also make a personal version, just on their own phone. Someone who is no longer welcome can be removed or blocked, and a second can be reported to Blits.

MAKE A VIDEO AND SHARE
One button turns your film into a portrait 1080p video, ready for Instagram Stories, TikTok, YouTube Shorts or WhatsApp. Too long for a story? Blits splits it into neat parts.

SAFELY STORED (PREMIUM)
Upgrade to Premium and your seconds are also safe in the cloud. New phone or reinstalled the app? Sign in and restore them, always free, even without Premium. Every second is also saved to your own Photos.

LOOK BACK
Blits shows you what you captured a year, a month or a week ago. The best part of collecting seconds is seeing them again.

PREMIUM (optional)
Longer seconds by holding the button, 4K videos and no watermark on your video. Just want the watermark and end card gone for one film? Buy that per film. Free stays free: unlimited seconds, unlimited films. With Premium your seconds are also safe in the cloud.

Blits Premium comes monthly or yearly and renews automatically until you cancel in your Apple account settings. You see the price in the app. You can also remove just the watermark and end card for one film, as a one-time purchase per film. Terms: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ and privacy: https://blits.video/privacy

Blits is made for people who would rather live than film. One tap, then look up.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.0.4 — 2026-10-02

The counter adds up again: your film shows the number of blits and the real length, and the camera shows the length of your film in seconds.

### 2.0.3 — 2026-10-02

Variable length works as intended: tap to start and tap again to stop, or hold until you let go. The length of a blits is then the maximum, and you see how long your blits is while filming.

### 2.0.2 — 2026-10-02

Variable length works again: hold the button to film until you let go, or tap to start and tap again to stop. A group film from someone with Premium gives the whole group Premium for that film. Tap a second in the editor to replace or delete it. Seconds from others land at the moment they were filmed.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-10-02

Set everything up on one page when you start a new film: length of a blits, stamp, plan, filming together and quality. Just Blits is at the top. Premium now comes monthly or yearly. Inviting friends and sharing Blits is easier, and tapping a notification always opens the right film.

### 2.0.0 — 2026-10-01

Blits 2.0. What do you want to blits? Pick a template and see an example right away, including the new Blitslapse: one blits a day, week or month of something that grows. The editor shows exactly what goes into your video: stickers, watermark and end card. Record a voice while the film plays, and choose whether the film sound goes lower, stays mixed or goes away. Replace a second with a photo or video from that same week. Reminders are free, for all your films. Plus many fixes for a more stable app.
