## What is Blitz Cup?

Blitz Cup is an unofficial fan prediction app and the fastest way to play your fantasy World Cup. Every match. Every round. You have just 3 seconds per match to pick the winner — trust your gut, not your spreadsheet. 

HOW IT WORKS

Swipe left or right to pick which team wins. A realistic score is generated instantly. Move on to the next match. That's it.

You'll blitz through the group stage, watch your standings unfold, then enter the knockout rounds where the pressure ramps up. Round of 32, Round of 16, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, and the Final — every pick matters, and the clock never stops.

A complete run takes about 5 minutes. By the end, you'll have your own full bracket: your champion, your dark horses, your upsets.

PICK YOUR POWER TEAM

Before each run, choose your favourite nation as your Power Team. Their matches are highlighted throughout the tournament and earn 2x points. Edit the score on Power Match predictions to craft the perfect result.

GROUP STAGE

Predict all 144 group matches across 12 groups. After each group, review the final standings your predictions created. Pick one match as your Power Match and fine-tune the score.

Draws are possible in the group stage — swipe up if you think neither team can find a winner.

KNOCKOUT ROUNDS

From the Round of 32 to the Final, every match must have a winner. If you can't decide in time, the match goes to Extra Time and then Penalties — each with its own countdown. No draws allowed. Someone has to go home.

MINI-LEAGUES

Create private leagues and invite friends with a share link. Compare brackets, argue about your picks, and settle it on the global leaderboard. One run can compete in the World Rankings and multiple mini-leagues at the same time.

REAL RESULTS MATTER

As the real matches unfold, actual results replace your predictions. Your bracket adapts in real time — the matches already decided by real football are locked in, and your predictions fill the rest. Play again after every matchday to see how the tournament is really shaping up.

* Added an Underdog Bonus: earn +2 points per match when correctly predicting a lower-ranked team to beat a higher-ranked team.
