Block Attack - Rise of the Blocks is a puzzle/blockfall game. In Tetris, the blocks fall from the sky. In Black Attack - Rise of the Blocks, the blocks come from underneath, and scroll upward. The speed of the blocks get faster as the game goes on. You know how it works—games like to punish you for doing well! To eliminate blocks from the stack, line up at least three of one color, horizontally or vertically. No indication of the fact that it would only register vertical swipes either, or if there was, it was subtle enough to not be noticed at all (which is bad visual design) ### 5/5 — Cool *2020-08-06* I downloaded this game for Appa ### 3/5 — Almost great *2019-05-20* This game is similar to Tetris attack, but the touchscreen controls are clunky and just not good enough. onscreen controls & buttons would make it great in my opinion. But, *2018-01-21* I love puzzle league, and when I saw it on mobile, I was insanely hyped, and, well, its puzzle league alright. It works, sort of. I honestly think you should make it touch screen controls., I know, the controls now are meant to be how the original one was, but it just does not work too well on mobile. I’m addicted to the series. I know I may not be a developer but could you make a clear joystick on the screen instead of swiping? It takes solid game play that would be quick and responsive with a controller, and applies it into touch controls, which could have worked well if optimized for touch screen game play. It however is not. Aside from that the only game mode you have is endless, which wouldn't be a problem but the game will randomly decide to game over you even if the screen doesn't fill with blocks. But, (like other reviews also say), the controls are just too cumbersome and slow for this type of game. To be fair, I am using an iPhone 5c, (it is 2016 lol). So could possibly be my phone.
