No indication of the fact that it would only register vertical swipes either, or if there was, it was subtle enough to not be noticed at all (which is bad visual design) ### 1/5 — Needs so much work. *2017-09-06* This game has so much potential. It takes solid game play that would be quick and responsive with a controller, and applies it into touch controls, which could have worked well if optimized for touch screen game play. It however is not. Aside from that the only game mode you have is endless, which wouldn't be a problem but the game will randomly decide to game over you even if the screen doesn't fill with blocks. But, *2018-01-21* I love puzzle league, and when I saw it on mobile, I was insanely hyped, and, well, its puzzle league alright. It works, sort of. I honestly think you should make it touch screen controls., I know, the controls now are meant to be how the original one was, but it just does not work too well on mobile. I’m addicted to the series. I know I may not be a developer but could you make a clear joystick on the screen instead of swiping? Swiping takes a long time to react, and the gameplay at a high level is supposed to be fast. Button feedback vibration would be even better with that. The touch controls are hard to get used to but it is what it is. Needs more game modes, there are a lot of simple things missing from the standard Tetris attack format that wouldn't be hard to add. But, (like other reviews also say), the controls are just too cumbersome and slow for this type of game. To be fair, I am using an iPhone 5c, (it is 2016 lol). So could possibly be my phone.
