I’ve been playing for a while but went on a hiatus for a bit & just started playing again recently, however the last couple of days have glitched a few times. While in sandbox mode, more than once I’ve randomly “teleported“ underground where all the lava is, with spiders & guys that shoot arrows at me. No clue how I ended up there either time. All I was doing was chopping trees when I was teleported. I had to fly to get out the first time. The second time, I was mining underground for a while & just like before when I was chopping trees- the game glitched & I fell through my stack of blocks (used to reach higher) & got stuck. It seemed like I was stuck in or under a block but I couldn’t see what caused me to be stuck & no matter how many blocks I mined to clear myself- nothing worked. I had to close the game & reopen it but now it won’t let me open that saved game. I can open any of the others I’ve saved, but that one stays stuck on the “checking saves” screen. Any ideas to get back into it? I’d like to keep progressing as I’d been building a lot in that saved game slot! Edit: 09/21/25 Now I have 3 saved slots that won’t open & just say “checking saves” and never does anything to load them. I’ll just have to find another similar game to play until these glitches get resolved bc it’s very frustrating to get so much collected & built, then my saved progress is just inaccessible all of a sudden.
