## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can’t figure out how to play!

*2019-07-17, version 1.4.0*

Wish there were a tutorial with this. Looks like it would be great if I knew how to play!

### 1/5 — Blah

*2019-01-30, version 1.4.0*

No real logic, just push blocks around till they slide into intended boxes. Maybe some basic instructions would be helpful. All in all poorly executed app.

### 1/5 — required a review

*2019-01-09, version 1.4.0*

kept demanding I review it, so automatic 1 star

### 2/5 — Hard puzzles, abrupt end

*2019-06-22, version 1.4.0*

It’s a great little game, for what it is. It could have been a lot better with just a little extra effort on the non-puzzle game elements.

You have to move blocks, and over time, you learn various systems to get the blocks where you want them to be. The music is monotonous and there aren’t many satisfaction points- no cool sound when you pass a level, or even an ending animation for the level beyond the slightly flashing dock outlines. It just instantly moves you into the next challenge, which feels unrewarding.

The end has this problem, too. There’s no “chapters” for the different kinds of challenges, you just move through them all in linear fashion, until you’re suddenly back at level one. No ending, no warning, just “oh look, one square on the screen.” Worse still- it forgets any progress after level 88, so you’re perpetually stuck on the last level whenever you open the game after solving it once!

So, the puzzles are challenging and interesting, but the rest of the game design is definitely lacking. I still recommend it, I just want you to also know what to expect so you aren’t disappointed. I’m giving it two stars for the puzzles. I originally gave it four, but then discovered the “stay on the last level forever “ bug.

### 4/5 — FUN

*2019-04-08, version 1.4.0*

### 4/5 — Please!!!

*2019-02-06, version 1.4.0*

Can you please make this available on Android as well? It’s a pretty amazing game!

### 4/5 — Great game

*2019-01-21, version 1.4.0*

Is there something I’m missing for Level 43? I am totally at a loss.

### 4/5 — Great Game!

*2018-12-04, version 1.3.0*

Love this game. Makes you feel like a god when you pass the seemingly impossible levels. 10/10 much better then fortnite. Level 55 seems impossible though... I’m pretty sure it is.

### 5/5 — Almost there…

*2024-02-28, version 1.4.0*

Love it. I’ve been stuck at the level 88 for a while now but I know I’ll eventually solve that one too… I really hope there is level 89 after!

### 5/5 — you rock, block dock!

*2019-12-13, version 1.4.0*

## Most praised reviews (7 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great game

*2019-03-28, version 1.4.0*

Super satisfying when I’d figure it out, especially on the first try!
I would have given it 6 stars but there are only 88 levels 😭. Please expand the game! Thanks for filling in my need to win lol

### 5/5 — Great Puzzles

*2019-03-18, version 1.4.0*

Puzzles that get so hard that I’m still stuck on level 78 after 5 days at it.

### 5/5 — Great Variety of Difficulty

*2019-03-17, version 1.4.0*

This is a great puzzle app for persons who like to think (as opposed to many game apps where speed is a component). The early puzzles are fairly simple, but the later ones increase in difficulty. In addition, some call for completely new approaches, and the puzzles are not merely a rehash of previous solving techniques.

### 5/5 — Relaxing

*2019-02-13, version 1.4.0*

Fun, a little tough at first. But once you learn a technique incredibly easy but still fun and great for settling the mind

### 5/5 — Fun, challenging brain teaser

*2019-01-07, version 1.4.0*

I Enjoyed working my way through all the puzzles in this game. Several times I got stuck for many many tries but it was pretty satisfying to finally figure out the strategy or trick. Most of the levels go by very quickly.

### 5/5 — Great, challenging game

*2019-01-06, version 1.4.0*

This is the best game I've played in a long time!! Please roll out more levels!!!

### 5/5 — Surprisingly Great

*2018-11-30*

When I bought this, I thought it'd just be a cheap purchase to pass time whilst waiting in lines or when travelling on a bus or train, etc. Legit, I bought this very much imagining I'd load this once, find some clear flaw, laugh at the game and its developers, and consider that my money well-spent in a laugh at the poor quality of gameplay often places in mobile games wherein almost the entirety of Development goes into a marketing model that looks good and that's it, as to rope in one-time purchases and expecting guilt to prevent people from requesting a refund. This, is all too common.

So, what about 'Block Dock!'??? Gosh, could I have misjudged it any harder? I put aside my Clash games, my card games, my strategy and tower defence games, and rather than leaving Block Dock! for passing the time in public, I played it from start to finish within 3 days - at about 2-3 hours a day - and found myself wanting to pay for more levels after blitzing through the short-lived (but incredibly challenging) 88 levels...

Simplistic design and rules, but regardless of these limitations, this very much reminded me of a streamlined, cheap, and polished version of a chess scenario service/solver. Often having to read many moves ahead, I was sucked into this quaint brain-teaser problem solving game. Being so desperate for more of this game after I'd finished it, I started playing through it a second time, not remembering any of the puzzles and finding the first few levels to be just as challenging in their own way (and certainly no push-overs like you'd expect the first ones to be) as the end-game levels. To me, this clearly demonstrates that time, effort and careful thought was put into hand-crafting all 88 levels of this tiny gem of a puzzle game.

5 stars out of 5. If I were to have any complaints, as I said earlier it's that I can't pay for more levels. Not much of a complaint, hey? Amazing game for relaxing and kinda meditating to - zoning everything out but the clear goals of the linear puzzles in front of you. If you like to warm up your brain cells, I certainly recommend this game especially considering its bargain of a price!

PS: developers, if you see this, please consider paid-DLC ;D I can definitely see fans lapping it up - myself absolutely included!

**Developer response:** Hey :) Thanks for your nice review. We are glad that you like it very much. All of our games in line with block dock! We strongly recommend you our popular game "ston". Have a great day.
