Gameplay is different and less fun, The gameplay in bfe has two halves building and raiding while building you can make defences to prevent raiders from reaching your base and winning while raiding you can try and breach builders defences this is very different from the other two games gameplay since in both you build defences and battle a large number of enemys while in bfe you face only one (or two in co-op this makes the game too different to be as enjoyable as the first two and at later ranks defenders spam turrets ruining the game 2. Campaign is wasted potential, The campaign is the closest to the original game you build defences and battle a horde of enemys from 4 different factions (Goblock Zomblocks Botblocks Blockoids) however half of the defences have been removed which makes this gamemode less fun also once you finish all levels the campaign is unplayable which means all enemys from it are gone forever (decluding zomblock droids) it should be obvious why this is bad. 4, mods are gone, only people who played the original will understand mods in the original block fortress are a huge part of the progression and allow you a turn a pistol into a stunlocking uzi or make a shotgun deal ridiculous damage you get the picture? In the sequel block fortress war mods are replaced by equipment which can be used to modify your units allowing overpowered combinations and allow you to have fun experimenting mods were a staple of the block fortress franchise and removing them was a horrible decision on foursaken medias part 5, it killed the series, to remove some key features of the series change the gameplay so drastically and leave a potentially amazing part of the game unpolished was stupid on foursaken medias part on top of that they spent extra money on graphics ect why someone would make do many stupid decisions and invest lots of money into it is beyond me however the game under delivered and probably didnt make enough money for them to continue the series oh also dont forget the most expensive game to make in the series is also the most expensive honestly i do not understand why foursaken media would be so stupid however the block fortress series is now dead which is genuinely sad this series had some huge potential and has some very enjoyable games however it has been abandoned due to the creators own stupidity that is all i have to say on this review i highly recommend you try block fortress war instead as it is a much better experience however if you wish to play this i wont judge you after all i play it myself. ### 4/5 — Please help *2023-05-11, version 2.1.9* First off this game is very fun and i enjoy playing it although i have a bug of some sort where my home base is halfway filled with water and its just annoying to try and build anything in there. There are many of them now but an aquatic one is what's missing. Water and liquids in the game makes it easier to hide defenses so I believe it will be a nice addition. Of course, some useful parts such as trees and mountains might be absent, but the large amounts of water will make up for it. There might be some smaller hills or pieces of land scattered around, but for the most part the surface is water. Maybe some parts are deeper and others are shallower. It'll definitely be fun to try out such a biome, especially for some players like me who are going for an aquatic theme for their whole base. Please consider this idea. Отнимает почти четверть здоровья, от него не спрятаться, и из-за огромной дальности его не уничтожить. ### 1/5 — Unfair op opponents *2021-05-30* I always face the strongest opponents and I never win BeCAUSE YOU DEV ARE VERY CARELESS ### 1/5 — Good game but... *2020-09-06* Game is good though not as good as block fortress war because getting to destroy enemy barracks and playing as zomblocks or blokoids made the game more... interesting and hopefully they make a new block fortress game that isn’t as trashy as this and don’t think the devs ever read these reviews so you guess why block fortress empires doesn’t have that many players playing the the game right now (yes hackers don’t get punished on this game because the devs are super lazy and the game is completely trash!) the game is so trashy that I had to delete it completely and no I don’t do that very often only to the extremely bad games only alternative was to wait and see if there would be an update in the future but after what I read in one of these reviews saying that the devs don’t take any advice and likely the devs are lazy and don’t even care about what happens to the game itself and I doubt they will fix any more bugs they probably don’t even care if the game dies or not and no doubt I know it’s true after what I found out in these 1 star reviews don’t know why the devs resorted to a trashy game like this one and the reason that makes me say the game is trash is the devs haven’t fixed any bugs lately and increases the likelihood of the game being trash and yes I mean so if they make a new game of block fortress hope it’s better than this and yes I was hoping this game could’ve been better like a player said this game has wasted it’s potential! ### 1/5 — A glitch in the game *2020-08-29, version 2.1.3* I got 500 rare gems but I did not git the gems. so I am mad a bit. But with the FPS experience you get from Block Fortress. You have a single player mode where you can fight the characters from Block Fortress War. As well as the raid where you can attack other players bases. You don’t lose anything if you are raided which is nice but it’s still fun to build defenses and see how a real person will react to your defenses.
