The perfekt tool for my needs, but there seems to be a problem with parsing math functions. With pandoc my documents look fine, but in your app it seems like there is a problem with the \begin{align} Tag, whixh i use for lining up my terms. It would be great if this would be fixed! So far it feels about right for my intent but will have more feedback after I’ve gotten more use. ———————— Original Review ———————— It can create files and it saves them with a “.md” extension. It can even save to arbitrary locations in iCloud, which helps me stay organized. However, it cannot open the documents it creates. I’m going to type that again because it may not be easy to comprehend. This app can make markdown files. It can preview those documents. Once you’ve saved that document, this app will not let you change it (apparently ever again). If I create a document in another app as a “.txt” file and save it to iCloud, then Markdown Pro can edit the file. It can even open and close the same file numerous times, like magic. But that magic doesn’t work for documents created by this app. ### 4/5 — Good app...needs a couple of features *2019-07-21, version 1.2.8* I’ll second the request for a find/replace function. In addition, I’d like to request the preview scroll along with the edit view, and vice-versa. It’s frustrating to try to find your place in the second view. Simple editing of .md files, saved as actual files. LaTeX support is also really useful. A couple of suggestions: - The markdown keyboard symbols are very large and take away a lot of screen space when editing, esp. in landscape mode. Any chance of being able to turn this off, or make the extra keyboard smaller (eg same size as regular iPad keys)? - Is there a find/replace function? If not, I think it would be a useful addition. Does not open Links, because it automatically adds file:// as prefix which leads to broken links. Des Weiteren sind die Symbole nicht immer ansprechbar, ich muss das Dokument schließen und wieder öffnen um die Symbole aufzurufen. Dieses Verhalten ist auch auf dem IPad Mini 6 zu beobachten. Free. Recommended. *2022-05-07, version 2.0.0* I needed a simple md editor/viewer to see some md files on my OneDrive account. I didn’t need anything elaborate or pricey. I don’t use it enough to justify spending a large amount. This fits the bill. If you want something with a ton of features that gets updates, go to one of the paid options. Maybe if I could just go to settings and just pay for it (hopefully that’s not something I’ve just overlooked). UPDATE: Found it, lol. Some sort of double bracket ( eg. [[file name]] ) support would be excellent. Especially one that auto suggests as you type (like Obsidian). I’m pretty much looking for a way to access my Obsidian vault on an iPad and work with it more or less the same as I do on the computer. Oh, maybe a toggle option too, so I can collapse certain sections if I don’t want to look at them while I’m working on a different part of the writing.
