## What is Blockway AI?

Blockway AI is an AI assistant that understands Cantonese the way Hong Kong people actually write it — along with English and Mandarin.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Chat naturally in Cantonese, English or Mandarin, and mix them in one sentence
• Send a photo — a menu, a letter, a screenshot — and ask about it
• Attach a document and get a summary, a translation or answers from it
• Search the web for up-to-date answers, with the sources listed
• Have answers read aloud in natural Cantonese
• Speak your question instead of typing
• Pick up any conversation on the web at codeway.blockway.io

PLANS

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-17

• Answers you can see: pictures, cards, key figures, comparisons with a recommendation, charts, step-by-step guides, checklists and timelines, instead of walls of text.
• Tap, don't type: when Blockway AI needs to know more, it asks a few quick questions you answer with a tap, and suggests what to ask next.
• Ready-to-send drafts: emails and messages in a box you copy or send in one tap.
• Group chats: chat with friends or your team, and bring AI bots into the conversation. Report a message or block a person at any time.
• Your AI team: set up digital co-workers for your business who plan, follow up and report back.
• Connect your apps: Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 (Outlook mail, calendar, Excel), so Blockway AI can help with your own schedule and mail.
• Local weather and news for where you are, and better answers about where to eat.
• Hold to talk: press and hold the microphone, release to send.
• Now in Arabic.
• Many fixes and improvements.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-10-05

• Memory: Blockway AI can remember what matters to you. See it, edit it or turn it off in Settings.
• Scheduled tasks and a daily Hong Kong brief (weather, warnings, news), with a notification when they're ready.
• Hands-free voice mode in Cantonese: just talk, and hear the answer read back.
• Ask from anywhere: share text, a link, photos or a file to Blockway AI, or use Siri and Shortcuts.
• Hong Kong at a glance: weather, warnings and headlines in the app.
• Fixes, including a screen flicker after sending a photo.
