## What is Blockwright?

The old master has retired - the village workshop is yours now.

Merge raw offcuts into planks, beams, and fine furniture. Customers wait with orders: deliver what they ask for and they pay in points and fresh timber. But the floor is only so big, timber is never free, and wood you neglect cracks and rots away.

Every week your fame grows - and fame is expensive. Finer customers demand real furniture, order in combinations, and pay thinner margins. Chain your merges for combos, catch rush orders before they walk out the door, and decide what your workshop builds while the margins are still fat. No shop survives forever. How many weeks will yours?

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.11 — 2026-09-26

A new look, and a better first day in the workshop.

Every piece is now drawn: scrap and planks become stools, tables and a gold wardrobe, each on its own colour so the chain reads at a glance. New players start with one week they can finish. The daily challenge has a par - the same on every phone - and a Share button for your result. Finish a week and keep going with the same workshop, an optional daily reminder, and a tidier home screen.

### 1.0.9 — 2026-09-19

Now in Swedish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Turkish - the game follows your phone's language.

Customers now ask for what the market wants, not for what you happen to have built: an order is something to work towards. Timber prices fall more slowly as your fame grows, so a well-run shop stays open longer. And if no ad can be shown when you press "Watch ad", the shop reopens anyway - on the house.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-09-07

A bigger workshop.

The board now fills the width of your phone, so every piece is about a
quarter larger and easier to drag. The game no longer shifts size when a
merge chain starts. Order cards say plainly what each customer wants and
how many pieces are still to craft, with a Deliver button once they are
ready. The hint cards can be tapped away.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-09-06

Housekeeping.

New players now get eight ad-free runs before the first ad, and ads between
runs keep at least 90 seconds apart. Under the hood: the app now carries
Apple's privacy manifest and reports anonymous play statistics (no account,
no personal data) so we can tune the workshop. No changes to the game itself.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-05

Two new ways to play, and a workshop that remembers you.

One week is a short run with an end to it: eight commissions and the job is done, in a few minutes rather than however long you last. Endless is still there when you want the long haul.

And your reputation now earns you something. Fit one workshop upgrade before you open - a fuller woodshed, a third commission on the counter from day one, scrap that survives longer, rush offers that wait. You swap between runs, and each one carries a real trade-off rather than being free profit. The daily challenge stays the plain shop, so everyone's score still means the same.

Smaller things: if you set a new best the game may ask, once and never again, whether you would rate it, and the home screen now lists the studio's other games at the bottom.
