I constantly found myself wondering where the button was to get to the place I needed to be. I know some people enjoy this platform for many reasons, but my rating is based primarily on ease of use. I make my living from a computer screen, so while user error is always possible, that does not feel like the main issue here. I was often lost in the interface and never felt confident in the appearance of my blog, which kept me from wanting to share it with others. I held on for a while thinking it might just be a matter of adjustment, but that feeling never really changed. Today I went in to update my settings. When I hit save, I was abruptly taken to the login screen. I assumed it would be simple to log back in, but that has not been the case. When I created the account, I used my Apple ID with the masked email option. My attempts to log in that way appeared successful, but the process never moved me forward to an actual usable screen. After going in circles, I decided I want to delete my account. If I can successfully log back in, I’ll take care of that then. For now, I’m left waiting. ### 4/5 — I like it *2025-02-22* Gives me a space to air my feelings and a sense that those feelings may just help someone else along the way. It’s not easy to gain readers and followers…not many fellow bloggers actually interact or read others bogging posts…but a few people do. If you’re looking to write for fun and for the satisfaction of just getting it off your mind, this app is great. If you’re looking for fame or to be published…I haven’t seen enough interaction here to think it’s possible. ### 2/5 — I would give it five stars if you could use your own photos for free *2025-02-20* The app is easy enough to use, but you should be able to use your own photos for free and not be charged. If you want to use your own photos for your post I would give it probably a five so if I could do that, and also if I can get more engagement with my post that I put on there cause my post or to help other people and also for me as well I really would like more engagement with my post and see myself get more followers with my post because no seeing my post ### 4/5 — Amazing app but is missing some things *2024-09-13* This is a really great app and I love it but I feel like some things are missing. They’re needs to be an easier way to make and find specific hashtags for starters. I love this app but I just can’t find the hashtags I look for. Also, they’re should be a way to reply to posts. Evening went to D’sastre bar- full of irons, sewing machines etc and fab music ( not live) Recommend to eat at Casa Rita ( Michelin Star) El Mosquito - didn’t eat there but fish / rice restaurant and much cheaper All nice bars and restaurants just behind seafront ### 2/5 — Pour first impression *2024-05-01* Most apps start out strange. They’re unfamiliar, appear to do peculiar things. This one presents a password to me in a series of dots, but I did not create it so don’t know what it is. Hopefully that problem will soon solve itself. I next try to write a “message” (I guess that’s the software's term for a blog article) but I get only a blank screen with no keyboard and no ability to paste text. I repeat this a couple more times with the same result. I give up. Photo zoom adjustment - no need! Due to gallery problems and comments, I don't write much. It's not enough to just leave a short comment. While reading their stories, I can leave long comments. Why short comment! I’ve been looking for a place to record some progress but now one form of expressive media I want to remember is no longer available! Maybe they tell you this from the beginning but I’m really sad and I’d rather just find a less restricting and easy to use blog app... **Developer response:** BlogIt is free if you want to post entries but not to add photos and videos. Photos and videos take space and we need bigger server so we ask users to participate with this subscription. Kept saying “error try again” uninstalled. ### 1/5 — Has some issues *2020-06-15* With this recent update, I am unable to tag other users in the comments of my own posts as the whole app just crashes whenever I try to do so. Hoping this is just a small bug that can be fixed. I can see why you would add a ‘premium’ feature (most apps nowadays do) however, one of the main things this app had going for it was that everything was free to post. The subscription aspect itself is fairly inexpensive however it was nice that you didn’t need to pay to add pictures to posts before. Still a good app if you just want to post what you write.
