## What is Blokk Slide?

Blokk Slide is a sliding-tile puzzle where you rearrange colored blocks until the center of the board matches a target pattern.

Each tile slides into the empty slot beside it. You swipe. The board shifts. The center updates. It's a race between your hand and your eye.

— THREE WAYS TO PLAY —

Daily puzzle. One shared challenge every day, the same for every player on Earth. Solve it fast, climb the global leaderboard, keep your streak alive. A new puzzle drops at UTC midnight.

Solo. Three difficulties — Easy (5×5 board, 3×3 target), Medium (6×6 board, 4×4 target), Hard (7×7 board, 5×5 target). No clock, no pressure. Practice at your own pace.

Multiplayer. Create a room, share the 6-digit code, race up to 7 friends on the same scrambled board. First solve wins. Extra time options for tighter or looser rounds. No accounts. No sign-up. Just play.

• A fair daily. Everyone on the planet gets the same board. Your time stands next to theirs on the leaderboard.

• Built for a minute. Or ten. Puzzles solve in under a minute on Easy, scale up to a few minutes on Hard. Good for a coffee break, good for a long commute.

• Quiet design. Clean typography, honest colors, no pop-ups, no streak-nagging notifications. The puzzle is the whole show.

• Works offline. Solo mode plays without a network. Daily puzzles play offline too, but your time only counts on the leaderboard if you're connected when you solve.

• Light + dark mode. Follows your system setting.

— ABOUT PLAYING WITH FRIENDS —

Multiplayer rooms are private by default — you get a 6-digit code to share. Up to 8 players per room. The host picks difficulty and extra time (10, 20, 30, or 60 seconds). Everyone sees the same scramble and the same target. No chat — just a shared countdown and a race track so you can see who's ahead.

— WHAT WE DON'T DO —

No ads inside active gameplay. No hearts, lives, or energy timers. No purchase prompts mid-puzzle. No app-locked content. The full game is free — we support the game with optional, respectful ads between runs.

- Smoother gameplay: reworked board rendering so each move updates only what changed instead of re-rendering the whole board — less jank across Classic, Mosaic, and Save Blokky! in single-player, daily, and multiplayer.
- Smoother spectating: watching a multiplayer opponent is now re-render-free, so the board stays smooth on every watched move.
- Multiplayer stability: the lobby and daily leaderboard no longer reset when the backend hits an error — failures are now caught and surfaced instead.
- Multiplayer: invalid lobby-join requests now report the specific rejected field, making issues faster to diagnose.
