Bloom revolutionizes your productivity by requiring you to scan an NFC keycard to your phone to access distracting apps.

**How It Works**
- Choose Your Distractions: Select the apps or websites you find most distracting.
- Block Your Distractions: Tap your Bloom card to your phone to block those apps.
- Live Distraction-Free: Stay productive with your card out of reach. When ready, just tap your Bloom card to your phone to unblock your apps.

**Features**
- Schedules: Set personalized schedules for your focus periods, allowing them to start and end automatically.
- Breaks: Use your apps mindfully by setting limits on the frequency and duration of your breaks.
- Strict Mode: Disable your ability to delete the Bloom app while in focus mode (optional).
- Emergency Exits: Unblock all of your apps without your bloom card up to three times.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2026-07-30, version 5.07*

I do not have instagram selected as an approved app, but it’s not blocked. I also do not like how I have to tap the bloom to lock the phone. Makes sense to unlock but not to lock

### 3/5 — Schedules aren’t working as expected

*2026-07-25, version 5.07*

I have schedules setup to block from 06:00 to 18:00 and then from 23:00 until 05:00. So should be able to look at my apps in the period 18:00 to 23:00 without having to go get the card. This isn’t currently working.

### 5/5 — Love it!

*2026-07-17, version 5.07*

It’s the best!

### 4/5 — Love it but needs remove friend feature

*2026-07-13, version 5.07*

Yeah love this app but I need to remove a friend because pain yeah please add that feature

### 5/5 — Perfect for an adhd brain

*2026-07-09, version 5.07*

I was so sick of knowing I had an addiction to my phone and the internet, I could hear my inner voice yelling to stop as I was sucked into scrolling or picking up my phone first thing in the morning. I’d wish that my phone could just text/make calls, play music/books, take photos and hive directions but without the access to anything else. No scrolling, no constant news cycle, no dopamining in the worst way. I would loose hours and hours to it . I now have my phone set up to only allow the things I actually want access to and I can feel my brain coming back into its creative power. This is such a helpful tool, it is pricey but I choose to think of it as a one time purchase medicine to help my brain.

### 2/5 — Good solution, buggy execution

*2026-06-28, version 5.07*

The app blocker search functionality constantly crashes. It takes 5 minutes to add 10 app to the blocked approved list. Constantly crashing then restarting the app and navigating to same spot

### 3/5 — The scheduled time feature stops working randomly

*2026-06-27, version 5.07*

I think this my main problem with the app. Other than that it’s great.

### 4/5 — Sometimes in the morning it doesn’t work

*2026-06-27, version 5.07*

It is a great app. It forces me to put down my phone and work but in the mornings is when I struggle with my phone the most and so does the app. If I schedule beforehand to block my phone in the morning I would wake up to all my apps even tho the app itself says they’re blocked.

### 4/5 — Schedules have a mind of their own

*2026-06-26, version 5.07*

To elaborate on the title. The schedules feel like they’re just for show. Several times I’ve been locked out of apps when I shouldn’t have been. Other times I’m locked out of the wrong mode. Once I was even locked out of an app that was on zero of my block out modes. I have deleted this app several times and ultimately end up going back only bc it’s the only way I can decrease screen time. I wish they’d work out the bugs. Also!! make it so I don’t have to go through the stupid unskippable set up dramatization of how much the app will help me every time I need to delete and redownload bc of bugs, especially since I have to log in first. Like you already know I have an account. Leave me alone

Update!! Request for the developers: can there be a 30 second warning notification before your break is about to end. Let me know I need to wrap it up before the blackout happens

### 3/5 — Good app, one knit pick

*2026-06-26, version 5.07*

I feel like the app should allow cross device access, like one device is in focus mode, and the other device can be in focus mode as well, without the need for an nfc. The manual blocking on the ipad does not have the same physical boundary to unblock, and serves more as an act of discipline. If this change was possible, please make it an option. Thank you for your product.
