### 5/5 — Great!

*2026-10-16*

I really appreciate that this exists given the app store is generally riddled with low quality drawing apps that are filled with ads, use a preposterously expensive subscription model, or use a predatory cognitive design that is bad for children’s developing minds. This app has none of that and works well. One suggestion- the ‘draw by numbers’ feature could use a way to view the finished drawing before popping up the ‘you did it!’ Screen- as it is the little one can’t see their finished article. (Alternately it could show up in the saved drawings like new drawings and other coloring book articles do).

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for this thoughtful review — it truly made our day. You described exactly what we set out to build: a calm, ad-free, subscription-free space that respects little ones and their parents.

And great catch on the black/white bug — you were absolutely right. It's now fixed and rolling out in the next update, so colors draw true in both light and dark mode.

On coloring inside the lines: we just added a guided "Color by Number" mode that does exactly that for younger kids, while free drawing stays fully open for building hand–eye coordination — so you can pick whichever fits the moment.

Thank you again for taking the time to write this. Happy drawing! 🎨
