Unfortunately the loan was a paid app right off the bat where as the others gave trials. The app that I downloaded and like the most is and Endel. Endel is much more complex in the sounds that it generates in the textures that it creates. I find Endel much more enjoyable to listen to then Bloom. This is a hackathon level app that just has Brian Eno's name on it. It doesn't even need the 2D plane it provides to work, since the X-axis has no effect whatsoever in what you're playing. I like gnarly sounds. But also like the contrast as a producer myself. Really great. I saw someone mention the lack of record function. Unsure if I should say this. But as a workaround I have been using the iPhone Screen record function to share to Instagram stories and even convert to .WAV using a site called cloud convert. Yet to use in any production work (hope that's ok an please advise if there is any copyright issues). But have been thinking about working with a poet friend using the results.
