I’m 28 and I still played this game from time to time. One of my favorite phone games I think I have ever played and still have downloaded from when I was a kid. When the bombs fall, this will be something I will miss. C’est un chef-d’œuvre intemporel, un sommet absolu du jeu vidéo, probablement la plus grande création jamais conçue par l’humanité. Aucun autre tower defense, aucun autre jeu mobile, et soyons honnêtes : aucun autre jeu tout court n’arrive à sa cheville. Toutes les versions sorties après ? Bonnes, oui. Mais elles ne feront JAMAIS mieux. Jamais. Bloons TD 4 HD est à un niveau tellement élevé qu’il est tout simplement inatteignable. C’est la perfection figée dans le temps. Les Super Monkey sont d’un charisme indécent. On ne parle pas assez de leur présence divine à l’écran. Et le Sun Monkey… c’est littéralement un dieu. Une entité cosmique. Chaque rayon qu’il envoie est une leçon de game design. Le voir apparaître, c’est ressentir une émotion pure que seuls les vrais savent. Le jeu est parfait de bout en bout : maps, rythme, difficulté, stratégie, sensation de puissance… tout est calibré avec une précision chirurgicale. On ne s’ennuie jamais. On ne s’énerve jamais. On savoure. Le seul “défaut” (si on peut appeler ça un défaut), c’est qu’il mériterait des modes en ligne et un tout petit rafraîchissement technique. Pas pour l’améliorer — on n’améliore pas la perfection — mais pour qu’il prenne enfin tout l’écran des tablettes modernes, parce que ce jeu mérite d’être affiché en grand, comme une œuvre exposée dans un musée. Il y a aussi quelques bugs sur certains appareils, et c’est tragique… non pas parce que le jeu est mauvais, mais parce qu’un monument pareil mérite un écrin à sa hauteur. Bloons TD 4 HD, c’est le genre de jeu qu’on lance “juste pour une partie” et qu’on quitte deux heures plus tard avec le sourire. Un classique éternel. Une légende.
