I haven’t had any problems with them previously, however I recently started investing again. After checking it I found $130 had been removed from my account with no transaction history of a withdrawal. ### 5/5 — Incredible for savings *2025-03-20, version 2.7.13* I found this app December ‘23 through instagram ads. It looked promising, as I was actually looking for a bank savings account, I signed up and I have been incredibly happy ever since. Any questions/issues I’ve had, they have dealt with amazingly!! Highly recommend to anyone needing a reliable and good savings account. ### 5/5 — Saving made EASY *2025-02-18, version 2.7.8* I decided a year ago to get serious about an emergency fund and found Blossom app. It’s so easy! Best part is there’s no waiting for funds to land into the app and vice versa. Unlike other banking institutions where you are required to jump through hoops to gain your interest, Blossom requires nothing from you. I also Like the option to put my money in a higher interest acct and it helps me save as you cant immediately access it. Highly recommend Blossom. I tell all of my friends and anyone who will listen really. 😄 ### 5/5 — Blossom app *2024-12-18, version 2.7.6* I was recommended to check this app out by a friend saying this is just like what the banks do for savings but gives you a better outcome due to how this app has been set up. Easy to use getting funds in and out. A great idea to watch your money grow each day! ### 5/5 — Finally started a savings account *2024-12-10, version 2.7.5* I finally managed to start saving after many many years of struggling. Being able to watch the interest grow daily has encouraged me to stick to my goals. It’s also great that they have a calculator to work out how much your savings will grow after a certain amount of time with how much you deposit over a certain period. Being able to only withdraw once a day for immediate payment also makes me stop and think about whether I actually need the purchase. It’s very user friendly and the staff are always so lovely if you need any assistance. I love that I can set multiple goals and delegate funds to each goal - the more funds you put into your goals you also get to watch a fun little flower ‘blossom’. Only recommendation I have would be to allow external transfers from accounts that aren’t in your name as hubby transfers to me and then I have to transfer to blossom which can be a bit fiddly / annoying but honestly, other than that I think blossom is a 10/10 ### 3/5 — 👎 *2024-12-04, version 2.7.4* I put in $10 and the funds never showed up in my account even though the money came out of my bank account. Highly recommend ### 3/5 — Big fan of the concept but *2024-09-17, version 2.6.2* The app is super glitchy, eg when logged out and trying to log back in I get stuck in an eternal loop of entering log in details and being redirected to the log in page or once funds have been transferred in it takes a couple of days (!) for the fund screen to update. But I am a huge fan of the concept and this app has helped me accrue significant savings in a short period of time so big thanks for that. ### 4/5 — 4.5 stars! *2024-08-03, version 2.5.11* So far, I’m really enjoying this app and this new approach to finance. As a young female, it’s great to see an app that is more directed to my demographic. As a gen Zer, I’m big on aesthetics and this app delivers that! It’s amazing to see daily how much interest I am earning on my savings and a massive motivator! My only cons are that the app can be a bit glitchy at times and slow to load and that my funds weren’t instantly sent to Blossom as the app says it would be. It took 24hrs or so before my funds were loaded into Blossom so I would suggest an improvement might be to make customers aware that “it may be instantaneous or take up to 24 hours - you will receive an email from us once the funds are available in your Blossom account” just to squash any worries in the customer’s mind as it is a lesser known app and trust is key. Signing up and depositing money - easy and simple Withdrawing money - line up the rings of fire to jump through. Conveniently there are technology issues with loading bank accounts, and Then apparently my ID needed to be verified…apparently ID provided was sufficient to get an account and take money but not enough to withdraw. Now need to verify where the money is being sent to - why? I initiated my request a week ago, and have needed to engage with someone a number of times. Each time I check the progress, there’s some new requirement that needs to be satisfied that I wasn’t told about previously. At this point I’m becoming concerned that this is actually some Pyramid scheme suffering liquidity issues and they’re trying to delay withdrawals because new deposits are declining with the rise in interest rates. **Developer response:** Hi Gamer4571, thanks for your review. We have internal flags to alert us to any suspicious activity. Unfortunately, activity related to your account triggered an alert in our system. Once an account is flagged, we have strict verification processes that we go through before we can pay your money out. We don’t take these procedures lightly because we need to ensure that our customers money, data and account information are secure at all times. I can assure you that 99% of customers do not have to follow this process and are met with an incredibly seamless withdrawal experience. It’s always unfortunate when genuine customers are flagged, but we will not and cannot cut corners on this process. I sign in and it signs out. I try to connect bank details and it takes forever to load or a refresh for it to work. Like others have mentioned the concept sounds great and I do want to give them a fair shot but can’t if I can’t log in. Hopefully they fix this issue. ### 2/5 — Arduous Application *2023-08-31, version 2.2.4* I am incredibly unsatisfied with how arduous of a task it is to sign up to the Blossom service. I have provided three seperate forms of ID and still have not been approved. When I go onto the app to, for a fourth time, attempt to provide further ID, I cannot do so as my application is ‘pending’. I have decided to withdraw my application and delete the blossom app as truly, it has been hurdle after hurdle with their service, the website not working and the application process being drawn out and ridiculous. But instead of buying bond etfs, I recommend going to blossom. When I dig deep into research, the major portfolio of blossom is made up ,of corporate, government mortgage and more bonds. Its management fee is relatively low than other bond indexes. Is it trustworthy? Over 200,000 have invested in this. So it works like a bank but not expensive in fees like a bank.
