It was not this weird cutesy child aesthetic at all. The world map looks the same, but the characters and mons are completely different ### 3/5 — Horrible controls, can’t move camera while running, nice graphics but needs lots of work *2025-08-19, version 1.4.0* Lasted about ten minutes, the movement and use of the bow is too poor. ### 1/5 — The Lightus Anomaly *2025-08-03, version 1.4.0* Lightus should be a case study for universities on how a good idea can be made a business, one with a high level of potential to succeed, but due to entirely missing post Go-Live support, programmers who must be either lazy or just uninterested in seeing the app do well, and all-around punishing bugs, all developers who knowingly allow players to use side loaded apps to hack / cheat the game and creative worsen an already miserably bad game experience, all add up to a poison pill. Two updates since its launch, each one leaving the game more and mode dysfunctional, and each time ostracizing the players who helped fund the game ltoss their hands up and quit in high numbed. The name’s given to the pets- like, “Brown Pony”, or “Poisonous spider” are whacked out and lacking any sort of creativity. If you haven’t downloaded or started playing, save the trouble and skip it. If you are curious to see how low the App Store’s standards have become, allowing an app known to allow sideloads, hacks, and despite countless refund requests, yet still remains an active and allowable app, this is a prime example. While, initially, one may open the game and think to themselves ‘Wow. The graphics and the colors and… this is amazing. Open-world, I can do and go whatever and wherever. AND it’s f2p friendly? Truth: The only truth in the above is it’s colorful with good graphics. When it functions. Players have literally been given the full go ahead to use side loaded apps to make sure you have the worst, mot unfair gameplay possible. The bigs… oh, the bugs. They do these random updates, usually promised and then delivered 5 months late, after which the game literally functions 10x worse than before the update. There’s a reason there are only 30 players on an entire server, half of which barely log in. IT’s because this game and its developers (who have actually verbalized this_ don’t career about its player base. ### 1/5 — Queria muito gostar de Lightus, mas a experiência no iPhone está impossível *2025-07-24* Lightus é um jogo com um conceito incrível e MUITO potencial. A arte é bonita, a proposta é envolvente e dá pra ver que tem muito carinho envolvido no desenvolvimento. Eu realmente queria conseguir jogar e aproveitar, mas infelizmente no iPhone a experiência é frustrante. A jogabilidade está extremamente comprometida. Os controles não respondem direito, os comandos travam ou falham constantemente, e isso torna a experiência praticamente injogável. This is stupid. ### 1/5 — Numerous issues. *2026-06-28, version 1.5.0* I decided to leave Heartopia due to the controversial issues they've been having, so I choose to stop playing the game. This game was suggested as a replacement. Sadly, I can’t even start the game because I keep getting multiple notifications that something is wrong with the server. The first notification appears as 'failed to receive the hotfix resource.' Not really understanding what that means, I press retry, and it takes me to the service login screen. Then, the second notice I encounter is 'account creation is prohibited on the server.' Again, confusion sets in, and I don’t know what the issue is. I looked it up and heard different things about the server possibly not being available in my location, but it does say that the game has launched in the USA. So, I have to say this is a bad start as an introduction to a new game. I hope this issue can be fixed. Pack of partners adittion ( both external and official) like i m not saying tht gane is bad or textures r not good they r pretty good but after watching same partners for several time people get bored so their should be some mod packs addition which should be done by developers ! Nd there should be new features like seprate world in which we can hide the base of other players exept our frnds and no interfare of them in our gameplay exept during events . Some features should be upgraded like level system for catching partners ! People should be able to catch higher level partners their shouldn’t be written red text tht cant be captured instead of tht players should be able to catch but cathcing rate should be low on higher level pal!
