I made an account while on a Taiwan vpn and I had lost access to my email so I decided to contact support for help so they could help me recover full access to my account, I provided more than enough evidence to prove I am the account holder and they still denied me because the account was made using a vpn and they only assist people from said place example being Taiwan or Hong Kong; Because I lived outside said country they refused to help me. Keep in mind I had spent over £100+ on this account making this situation very frustrating and annoying; Overall it’s a beautiful game and would recommend but make sure to keep your gmail and account information tight otherwise you’re on your own.

The game's characters, story, music are great, but the gacha system will change for the worst when it eventually catches up to the JP server's complete revamp of the gacha system, turning it from a shared-progress spark/claim at 200 system where if you luck out, you can get another featured unit with the same point counter, into a 50/50 coinflip at 100 points that can make it even worse for you to continue, and completely wipes your progress if you do obtain the rated up unit so you're forced to start from 0 pity for the next one.

This is made even worse since unlike other games that use the 50/50 system with single-character, long-running banners, this game runs multiple banners for short periods of time (sometimes up to 6+) consecutively where this system is actively detrimental. As a mid-heavy spender, I cannot recommend this game in its future state when that update inevitably arrives.

New announcement completely reworks the gacha system. No more can you possibly get both students within 200 pulls. If you get the character from the banner before 200, your counter will reset! Effectively Hoyo 50/50 but WORSE because zero carry over! I have loved this game for years, played on mobile/steam and bought many pyroxenes. If this is not rolled back I will stop playing completely!! IBUKI DESERVED BETTER!! 💢

Blue Archive is a lot like many other of these kinds of games. They all differ just a little bit from each other.
The positive being the Graphics, Mechanics, Variety of customization, voice acted characters.
But then you have the negative - The story has an inconsistent flow through explaining what’s happening. The plot is being rushed and the grammar is off putting. There are no animations accompanying any of the cutscenes or dialogue.
There’s barely any logic to the story. It takes FOREVER for the game to show you how to use its basic mechanics.

And most of all, Blue Archive acts as a ‘choice game’, but it usually only gives you one choice when you “get a say” in the story, therefore there is no difference in the dialogue, and your own character can’t make any of their own decisions whatsoever, despite the fact that your character is called sensei (meaning high in command).

You see; what makes a game A Game, is the fact that You’re able to control what’s happening. Otherwise, you’re practically just watching a series or movie.

You CANT EVEN PLAY AS YOUR OWN CHARACTER in the fighting mini games either. It’s painful to watch yourself do nothing to contribute. Your character can’t and doesn’t have conversations with the other characters. Yet the other characters look at you as if you’ve done all these great things. It’s bland. It’s unrealistic. Its pitiful. It’s degrading. It’s degenerative.

Unless they plan to fix this in the future, which I doubt they will, I would not at all recommend playing this.

It is clear that the developers don’t care about you or your feelings. The storytellers don’t care about you either. They’re all doing this for their own benefit.

It’s just a Bad Game.

First off, I love BA, I've been playing since D.Hina banner so about 2 years about now. I love from the gameplay, the stories, the art, the students, and the community. But Nexon has recently announced changes in the jp livestream to the pity system which squeezes all the players to spend more. It just smells corporate greed and anti-consumerism. We won't get these changes just yet but if they do, global will get these changes when we catch up to JP/KR. Please Nexon, listen to your community or a good portion of the community will leave and find something else! I can't in good conscience recommend this game if they follow through with the changes.

Literally nauseating. I'm playing on an iPhone 12 and the UI buttons are so small that they cause eye strain and nausea. No options to change UI to better suit play on a phone. I'll probably stop playing as a result.

After spending many years, I had a great time on Blue Archive, but after this update, putting so much effort, so much time into the game, the gacha system got bad and in the future 3 months from now is getting worse. I spilt whatever pyroxenes and free 10 roll card I had and was forced to choose one and leave the other behind. I only had common draws. Just pyroxenes would be a serious waste of money and be bad investment. Please whoever is reading this, do not choose to invest time in this game, it’s going down a path of corruption and dismantlement, please don’t make the same mistake I have.

Disregard those that complain about long loading times when it’s their own wifi that can’t load even the loading bar. I’d say this actually loads quite fast, even on mobile data. The storyline is very suspenseful and interesting, and the gameplay is great. Though there’s a bug for me that says a session is active (I only play on one device) when trying to log in after the game exits (likely due to a RAM issue), but it’s easy to resolve and I can just restart the app.

일단 겜안분은 아니고요, 게임 최종 컨텐츠인 인연 100찍고 쓰는 글입니다. 
장점은 제목에서캐릭별 개성이 강해서 입문한다면 거의 한명이상은 최애캐가 될겁니다 솔직히 이거 하나만 보고 시작하셔도 됩니다. 그리고
남성향게임이긴하나, 여사친한테 시켜봤는데 잘하는걸 보니 여성분들도 입문하기 좋은거 같습니다. 그리고 타겜에 비해 2차창작이 꾸준히 이루어지기 때문에 행사에 참여할 기회가 많다보니 입문하기 좋은거 같네요. 단점은 거의 없으나 그나마 말해보자면 핸드폰으로 하면 발열이 조금 있다 정도와 일본서버는 좀 더 일찍 오픈했기때문에 스포를 주의해야한다는 점이 있긴한데 오히려 이걸로 대처 할수있기에 꼭 단점으로만 보시지는 않으셔도 됩니다.

Its genuinely entertaining to read some of the single star reviews. It always has to do with one of the listed:

-They suck at the game
-Have no patience to level up
-They don’t know how to play the game properly
-Can’t separate Fiction with reality
Or they just (unfortunately) have a horrible device for compatibility.

Things to point out is: 

1:
No, theres no gamemode thats impossible in the game. If you attempt a lunatic difficulty in any game, you will be met with defeat. Same goes in every other game.

If your team synergy or stats simply suck then thats entirely on you. Not that the game is impossible. 

Simply put, if the game built it intentionally and people beat it then its not about it being impossible. You’re simply picking the wrong fights.

2:
If you seriously believe that leveling up requires you to pay, then you need to have your attention span checked. You do realize that you can log in, get cafe stamina, sweep and you will slowly climb your way to max level. Not that difficult.

If you can’t have patience, then you shouldn’t even be playing gacha games.

3: 
If you can’t look into the game systems then you can’t play the game properly. The biggest criticism I saw here is “PVP sucks”. 

To some degree I agree. However, you have plenty of ways to make sure you win the best you can:
- Deployment order
- What students you bring
- What students you are fighting (visible)
- Choose starting deck

Not just “Oh my level is the highest between the two of us so I expect to win”. 

You seriously won’t get anywhere in ANY game if you can’t do as much as read.

4: 
Seriously people need to understand the difference between fiction and reality. This is self explanatory. Treating a fictional character as if they are real is bad in pretty much all angles. 

5:
Sorry for your loss. It usually has to do with background apps, memory or your storage. Try that.
