Key Features of the Blue Cab application include: • Book a trip in as few as 2 clicks • Monitor the progress of your vehicle on a map • Create a list of favourite addresses and assign a custom name for each • Review all reservations you have made over the past 30 days • Provide feedback related to the application and/or service you received • Call Blue Cab with the push of a button To begin using the Blue Cab application today: • Download the free app • Enter your phone number • Validate your account (via the notification code you receive) • Login to the app (Set your name and Email for receipts) • Enter your pickup address • Enter your destination address (this allows us to provide an estimated fare amount) • Book your trip On booking a reservation, you will immediately receive a confirmation number, along with an update when your vehicle has been assigned. From here you can monitor the progress of your vehicle as it moves towards your pickup location. The Blue Cab application retains a history of your previous reservations for expense management and to quickly rebook the same trip with the push of a button. A cab was scheduled 48 hours in advance for a 4am pickup to take us to ORD, with a quoted price of about $32. We called the company the night before to confirm the scheduled time and was told the pickup would be at 3:50am. We left the time as they had changed it to, not as we had scheduled it. Come 3:50a there was no cab waiting. We have the driver five minutes then called the company. The dispatcher confirmed the pickup location and time and routing with an extra stop in LaGrange before ORD. We said that wasn’t what we requested. It was direct to ORD. The dispatcher apologized and said the scheduled driver had to cancel, that she would find another driver, then call back with an ETA. The dispatcher called back about five minutes later saying she had no cabs available and suggested we call another company. As we stand here waiting for the Lyft we’ve not requested, a Blue Cab rolled by slowly, then took off. If you need a reliable ride, this is not the company for you. ### 1/5 — Call Lfyt *2018-04-27* If you want certainity, don't use Blue Cab. The reservation in the app aren't real. It depends if the cab acknowledges the dispatcher's request. Waited 30 minutes at O'Hare for a cab. Call Lfyt or take the "l". ### 3/5 — App hangs and did not confirm my reservation after 15 mins. *2017-08-30* Reservation was made but it was a pain waiting for confirmation. Had to call to confirm. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2016-11-17* App can be amazing but just needs to be updated. No live viewing of cars in or around my area and drivers take forever to accept a request. ### 5/5 — Tracking cab *2014-08-18* Tracking the cab is great and history of previous trip makes a quick ordering of cabs.
