Trying to setup new feature pass key results in spinning circle without completion after 15 minutes. Currently, this app is useless to me. ### 1/5 — Awful dont bother *2025-07-06, version 1.0.45* This app has always been finicky. Having to log out, set up codes, verify the code, to view my personal, then do the same to log into my business accounts. PIA!!! Now the business account won’t work, I have to delete app and reinstall every time I want to use my personal account. You would think they would have streamlined this after 4 years! ### 1/5 — Worst app I’ve ever used *2025-06-19, version 1.0.45* This is hands down the worst app I’ve ever used in my life. I can never actually pay my credit card bill because of some glitch, so they make you call in and pay an extra $7 to process your payment over the phone. Absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT BANK WITH THESE PEOPLE. It’s been the biggest headache. I will be canceling my credit card with them as soon as it’s paid off. ### 1/5 — 2025 and it’s still awful *2025-06-10, version 1.0.45* They found a way to make it worse. They removed all of the necessary credit card functions of the app. No more full access, no way to see your credit limit, and no one to see transactions. It was terrible before, and now it’s even worse. ### 1/5 — Worst app *2025-06-08, version 1.0.45* The app is always unavailable to access my account. ### 1/5 — Blue Mobile banking. *2025-06-06, version 1.0.45* This is by far the worst banking app I have ever experienced. It is so bad that it is reason enough not to bank with Blue. Here’s a hint. If you go to the website the login button should be the most prominent part of your homepage. I shouldn’t need to go any farther than that to sign in to my account. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2025-06-01, version 1.0.45* I have tried multiple times to use this app and it is unusable. It will prompt me to create a new passcode, say I successfully changed it, then when I enter that same passcode I just created, tell me it’s invalid. FaceID no longer works, I have no way to check my balance without just going on a website. Worst app ever. ### 1/5 — Very difficult to use *2025-05-29, version 1.0.45* I am still trying to get in after several times. This is the slowest most cumbersome banking app I’ve ever used. Perhaps instead of building a world headquarters, paying for your name to be on event centers and spending millions on advertising…you could I don’t know…make a simple app that will get you the information you’re looking for in a timely manner. Slow your roll Blue. You aren’t going to take over the world. You’re going to over reach for growth and crash when the next economic downturn comes. ### 1/5 — Recent patch broke it *2025-04-29, version 1.0.43* Ever since the most recent patch of bug fixes came up, the app has been legitimately unusable. No matter what method I try to sign in with, I get an error that stops me from signing in. I’ve had to use the web version for a month now… ### 1/5 — Trash *2025-04-12* This app is so bad. The interface is done sloppy and the system is slow. You would think that Blue would be able to provide a great app but you would be wrong. They’re too busy trying to put their name out there but they’re doing it all wrong. They only care about the money and not the memebers. It’s clear they read the reviews but don’t change anything because the department that created this app are lazy apparently. ### 2/5 — website not user friendly *2025-04-01* I have tried many, many times to view my statements and recent checking account transactions online, but it seems the website is not designed for that purpose. I can see my balance, which I appreciate, and make transfers or pay loans, neither of which I’m interested in, but I sure would like to see which bills have been paid and which deposits have come through. ### 1/5 — Worst App Ever *2025-02-24, version 1.0.35* I have had to delete and redownload this app several times. Seriously thinking about switching banks because of it. I can’t move my money when I need to and it’s more than annoying. ### 2/5 — Version 1.0.32 is broken *2025-02-10, version 1.0.32* I’ve been using this app since release, and it’s been fine, if a little threadbare at times. However, version 1.0.32 is pretty broken - it is not currently possible to select custom amounts of money beyond the minimum payment on credit card balances, and the app frequently fails on login and just… doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — The app makes me want to refinance my loan elsewhere. *2025-01-29* I have a car loan with Blue and this app and their website is so bad it makes me want to refinance my loan else where. Half the time it doesn’t even work, web app also does not work. If you can’t get the app or website to accept payment due to errors you have to call, where they charge you a “convenience fee” for paying over the phone. Like I don’t wanna pay over the phone but the app doesn’t ever work. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Amateur app *2026-06-17, version 2026.4.0* Principal Only payments never work. Been promised that it will work for 14 months. Nope. Are high school kids making apps for this joke of a CU? Every rep I talk to about getting my extra payments put towards principal only does it a different way. The payment history on my loan is an absolute mess. Blue FCU sucks. Can’t wait to get this loan paid off and be done with these clowns. ### 1/5 — The app is garbage *2026-05-23, version 2026.2.0* Wow. I’ve never seen an app this poorly designed. It’s like they tried to squeeze their webpage into an app format and it’s just unusable. Constant pop ups saying you are about to leave the app (when you aren’t). Takes forever to log in. Why bother offering an app when it’s this bad? ### 1/5 — Just doesn’t work *2026-02-04, version 2026.1.2* 99% of the things you want to do won’t work. The app boils down to seeing how much you owe on your loan and getting the phone number for customer support. I wish I could do anything in this hellscape with out having to call someone to manually do it for me ### 1/5 — Worst App for a bank *2026-01-07, version 2025.7.9* It is impossible to manage your debit card in any way on this app which leaves room for fraud. Also, it’s 2026, why does this app look and function like it was made on the original windows program ### 1/5 — Poor App *2025-10-25* I’ve been actively in the app either chatting with customer service or writing a message and it has kicked me out multiple times for inactivity while I was ACTIVELY in their app with their customer service. What the heck? In this day and age there’s no reason an app should kick me out when I’m actively writing a message and then when I get back the message is gone. Didn’t even save my draft. Plus when I logged back in during the chat all three times it kicked me out on one conversation I had to close everything again and try to log in two to three times to get back into the chat. It’s so frustrating. I hate this app. I am going to have to look for a local credit union since I can’t get anything done mobile with BLUE. Works fine for my general banking needs. ### 4/5 — 2 Different Sites? *2023-11-21* They fixed the password confusion, but now after setting up the new account login, the site has a bright white background, text lines are spaced out pretty far and it feels a little strange on mobile, but then I logged out and back in just checking my credentials and now the site is dark background and everything looks much better for mobile. Not sure what the first bright site was but the newer dark site seems pretty user friendly. **Developer response:** Thank you for bringing this to our attention. However, it is somewhat basic in functionality compared to other online banking platforms. Why?? - Loading times are quite high. It can take several seconds just to log in. - Requires you create a 5-digit pin exclusively for app logins. Why? There’s no way to just do username/pw login. But I feel compelled to use the app — and have to remember another code — because the web app doesn’t have a “remember me” feature, so you have to enter a OTP challenge every single time you log in. I haven’t experienced any major bugs or crashes, but I would say my impression is that the app is very heavy on bloat given the load times and bundle size. ### 3/5 — So so *2023-12-03* Definitely like the older app better. The new one does not show your current scheduled transfers and the option to change or delete.
