We are a tiny, family-based development team focused on quality experiences. Have an issue? Let us help! Contact us from the game's settings page. We appreciate your support. It will help us save face at the next reunion!

As in real life, not all games of solitaire have winning solutions. Only our Challenge Games are guaranteed to be winnable.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Subscriptions are optional and provide access to premium features for the selected duration (monthly, yearly, or lifetime). Lifetime subscriptions will charge a one-time fee, and will never expire. Monthly and yearly subscriptions will automatically renew according to the terms of Apple's subscription renewal service prior to the end of the current billing period to prevent a lapse in availability. Players may cancel their subscriptions prior to Apple's renewal process from the subscriptions area in the game's settings screen. Free trials are available to users as a one-time promotion, allowing full access to premium features for one week. Prior to the end of the free trial week, the user will be automatically subscribed and charged unless the user cancels the subscription from the subscription area in the game's settings screen.

Apple Family Sharing for Lifetime subscriptions is limited by Apple's policies for non-consumable in-app purchases. In order for a Lifetime subscription to be shared by family members, purchase sharing must be enabled, the user's family members must be sharing payment, and the app must not be hidden in the user's purchase history. These conditions are subject to change by Apple, and are outside the control of Blue Moon Solitaire. Yearly and Monthly subscriptions are enabled for Family Sharing by default, depending on the preferences set by the purchaser.

Power ups may be purchased inside the game, and are eligible for use in Easy, Medium, and Hard levels. Power up types are generated at random per the terms of the disclosure found here: https://kllandinc.com/blue-moon-solitaire-disclosure/

All in-app purchases, including subscriptions and power ups, will be charged to the user's Apple ID Account, which the user will confirm at the time of purchase. All automatic renewals will be charged to the same Apple ID Account. All payment processing is handled by Apple.

### 2/5 — Frustrating graphics

*2024-11-13*

Easy mode only has clubs at diamonds so that’s a bummer and then when the cards render and you like complete a deck and the deck turns over the cards don’t even render correctly the train they turned back to Queens and twos

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! We’d certainly love the opportunity to resolve any issue you’re running into, but I think we’ll need a bit more information to track it down. Would you mind reaching out to us at support@kllandinc.com so we can help? Thanks!

### 5/5 — Delightful way to pass the time

*2024-09-15*

I’ve been playing this game for about a week and it gets better with every play! This is keeping me busy and I find it enjoyable and relaxing. Highly recommend!

**Developer response:** Thank you! We really appreciate your kind comments and review!

### 5/5 — Really enjoying this game

*2024-07-15*

Big solitaire player. Loving the twist that this brings to the game of solitaire!

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback! We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying it!

### 5/5 — Challenging and a lot of fun

*2024-06-01*

I am not a huge solitaire fan but I am addicted to this game and keeping my streak going. And I love the dedicated support that constantly adds things and improves the game. A daily play on my phone.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words! We built this in the hopes that it would bring people happiness (and perhaps just a touch of frustration, haha). If there are any suggestions on things we can improve, don’t hesitate to reach out to us!

### 3/5 — Price is too high

*2024-03-18*

And miss me with that subscription nonsense. I’d pay $10, $24 is too much.

Edit based on the devs response:

Here are a few more thoughts.

- powerups: The flip animation when powerups are available is distracting and irritating. It makes the concept seem like a cheap money grab. This would normally have resulted in an instant uninstall from me, but the game is actually fun once you use the powerups and the flip animation turns off.

- All the animations are too slow. There should be a setting which turns this off.

- The base free game is largely luck based and doesn’t provide a compelling enough reason to switch to the full (very expensive for solitaire) game. Hiding the challenges and other bonus material behind a paywall makes sense, hiding the higher difficulty levels seems odd as this is a cheap opportunity to increase enjoyment and likelihood of someone paying for the extras. But I’m not here to critique your business strategy.

- For as much as I hate ads, I’m fine with ad supported free tiers. But I genuinely think $25 is too high for this game. I’m absolutely never ever going to subscribe to a solitaire game. I think that practice is scummier than ads. Let’s meet in the middle, I’d buy powerups to support you, but those actively make gameplay worse with the aforementioned flip animation.

Thanks for listening. Good luck.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback!

Setting a fair price has been the most challenging part of this process. As a tiny, two-person development team, the primary thing that motivates us is building fun software that brings our users happiness, whether they pay for premium features or not.

Most "free" apps these days overwhelm users with ads and/or make money by selling your data. We refuse to be part of the trend where it's ok to take data about you and sell it to the highest bidder. Additionally, we feel that ads make for a truly awful experience and we see that as a last resort for us. We ultimately have to set a price that we feel is fair, providing both options for subscription or outright purchase, that gives us the best chance to continue supporting the game.

We are glad you're playing our game and hope you continue to enjoy the no-ads, unlimited free tier we provide to everyone. Please feel free to contact us with any other thoughts or suggestions at support@kllandinc.com.

### 5/5 — Added to my daily routine

*2024-03-09*

As someone that loves daily challenges, I’m a sucker for keeping my streak going!!! Can’t get enough of Blue Moon Solitaire. Love the unique spin on a classic game.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us! We're excited (and grateful) to hear that Blue Moon has become part of your daily routine. If you love the daily challenges and enjoy building a good streak, I think you're going to be pretty excited about what's coming up next. Stay tuned!

### 1/5 — Broken

*2024-03-05*

Something fishy happened after the most recent update. Used to play and regularly beat this game on Easy. It was enjoyable and fun. After most recent update I was unable to solve the game on Easy 20 games in a row. I decided to play a game of Easy using the Hint feature for every turn to see what would happen. The game itself could only solve up to 88% before running out of moves. Did another game, got to 90% before it had no more moves. I suspect developer has tuned the game so player is forced to spend money on power ups to regularly solve the game. Deleted.

**Developer response:** Thank you for taking the time to provide your candid thoughts and experience with Blue Moon Solitaire. Our primary motivation is to create a fun and enjoyable game, which happily aligns with your initial experience. This gives us hope that we are on the right track!

We are a tiny two-developer company, and we got into this because we wanted to build apps that bring people joy. While monetizing the app is a goal, it will never be our primary motivation, and we will never rig the app for financial gain. We built this for my mother and her mother, for my aunts and cousins, for our friends who learned the game as kids and have painstakingly stuck with it for decades even though “you only win once in a blue moon”.

To address your specific concerns, all non-Challenge games (i.e. Easy) are generated randomly, and are not guaranteed to be winnable. Furthermore, the code for generating random games has not been modified in any way since our initial release in January 2024. Daily Challenge games are pre-generated to guarantee a winning solution, and are available to subscribers. We’d love for you to try them out! If you haven’t already, you can try the subscription free for 7 days.

As you mentioned, you were enjoying the game, and we sincerely hope that you will consider giving us another chance. If you have any other questions, we’d be happy to discuss them. Feel free to email us directly at support@kllandinc.com.

### 5/5 — Solitaire’s superior older sibling

*2024-01-26*

Such a fun and addicting game! If you like any version of solitaire you’ll be obsessed with this game.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your kind words! We're excited to hear that you are enjoying the game! If there's anything we can do to improve your experience, please let us know!

### 5/5 — Fun new game

*2024-01-25*

This is a great twist on a classic game. Makes you think but such a fun game. Love it!

**Developer response:** It definitely makes you work for the win!!! I wasn't kidding when I said it has haunted our family for generations... we just can't quit trying! Probably don't want to read too much into the psychology of that. Thanks for taking the time to post a review! If there's anything we can do to improve your experience, please let us know.
