### 4/5 — Do not get rid of

*2025-07-21, version 3.10.18*

I’ve been using this app for 5 years as an electrician forman on multiple projects, I use this app everyday. Got a notification this morning that after December 31, 2025 the app will no longer be available. New is Bluebeam Cloud.. installed and can’t even get prints to load onto it. Please keep on the App Store.

### 3/5 — Love the app…disappointed no longer being supported

*2025-04-21, version 3.10.18*

This has been a great app. I use in the field daily and it has become a very powerful tool for viewing and marking up plans. It is very disappointing that you are discontinuing updates on this app before getting your new app full functional. How long will this update continue to function before no longer useable? I have logged in using cloud and it is only a pdf viewer at this point. Not much help in the field. So disappointed with Cloud.

### 2/5 — Very Limited

*2024-11-21, version 3.10.16*

Tools and features very limited based on what you can do on the desktop version. Poly length measuring is not possible on iPad. A great feature would be able to mark up on pdf with Apple Pencil then automatically converts from handwriting to text. Being able to customise sequence tool set would be good to.

### 1/5 — Rip off

*2024-11-20, version 3.10.16*

This app simply does not work with iPad’s. I have no idea how they are allowed to sell this software. I’d like a refund.

### 4/5 — Review for Bluebeam App (iPad Version)

*2024-11-14*

I've been using the Bluebeam app on my iPad for some time now, and it has made a significant difference in how I handle prints on-site. The app allows me to easily access, review, and make changes to prints, which I can then send directly to the project manager and engineer for corrections. This feature alone has been incredibly helpful for my workflow.

While the app does not compare to the full capabilities of the software designed for PCs, it still serves as a good tool for fieldwork. One feature I wish it had is the ability to overlay prints. As a fire alarm technician, I often need to reference multiple prints for installing my devices, and an overlay feature would greatly enhance the app's usability in this regard.

Overall, it's a great app that has streamlined many aspects of my work. I would rate it 4 stars.

### 1/5 — Poor platform

*2024-11-13, version 3.10.16*

Bought, and can get even use. Won’t let me upload any files what’s so ever without crashing… There’s clearly some issues for i pad and this software.. I’d like to see them honour and give me my money back

### 1/5 — Can’t change units. Stuck in square inches

*2024-10-28, version 3.10.12*

Unit changing seems broken

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2024-10-16, version 3.10.12*

Bought when you could still buy software rather than rent, worked nice for a year, at this point it won’t launch and I can’t get it going at all. No support help. I’m guessing if I rent their new thing, that will work. Seems like a bad way to get me over to the rental software. The lack of support for a purchased product tells me to try something else, like Flexil, which is a lot cheaper. Booo.

### 3/5 — Can’t connect my Bluebeam Studio

*2024-10-04, version 3.10.12*

The app works fine for what I need. But without being able to connect my actual Bluebeam account with this app and link Studio, I have to find bum-backwards ways of doing what I need to do. Let me connect my actual account and it will be a much better app.

### 1/5 — Horrible

*2024-10-03, version 3.10.12*

I can’t even get logged in to try to use it. All it does is crash time after time don’t waste your money. I would give it a -10 stars if I could.. I’m deleting my account.

### 1/5 — CANT USE APP

*2024-09-29, version 3.10.12*

I’m beyond frustrated with this app.

We use Bluebeam exclusively at work. I bought the full pc program at home and this app in 2018. Never had issues with it opening and allowing me to set up and markup via studio so my team could coordinate with me regardless where I was on site or state etc.

This app this year will not open it crashes automatically. I dumped a great deal of storage on the iPad thinking this may be the problem to no avail. The app will not open

It’s a shame as I could not promote this program to my employers enough only to be let down

### 2/5 — Does not make use of full screen (iPad pro 11)

*2024-09-23, version 3.10.12*

This app does not expand to fill the screen available on the iPad Pro. This is disappointing, as I use this for opening large format drawings on a construction site. Other features seem to work as expected, but the interface is rather clunky. Needs a refresh to support modern hardware and software.

I would switch to a different app, but our office is tied to using Bluebeam, so this is the only option.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Why isn’t this better?

*2025-12-13, version 3.10.18*

Buggy, not responsive when using the Apple Pencil, opening files is super annoying…. Do better Revu

### 1/5 — Don’t download

*2025-10-31, version 3.10.18*

I just bought this for $10 on my iPad and as soon a I opened the app there is a message that they are removing it from the App Store at the end of the year. Why are you still selling it?

### 1/5 — Lacks support

*2025-09-06, version 3.10.18*

While great it still not usable. The lack of onedrive or googledrive is a massive disservice

### 1/5 — DO NOT BUY

*2025-04-29, version 3.10.18*

When I opened the app right after I purchased this app for $10, I got a notification that it will soon be leaving the app store entirely and to download the free bluebeam cloud app. Save your money!!

### 1/5 — Lost opportunity to improve this tool?

*2025-04-22, version 3.10.18*

Sad to hear the iPad app is going to be discontinued. The cloud does not replace the need for an app like this for quick review and markups when onsite or on the fly. If receive an email or airdrop with a pdf, how is it efficient to have to create and upload as a studio project? Bluebeam, please invest in this app! If it goes away, I’ll keep our full office seats but will migrate away from Bluebeam on our mobile devices.

### 1/5 — Just Don’t

*2025-04-05, version 3.10.17*

The worst money I’ve ever spent on an app… Can’t believe Bluebeam can’t do better than this

### 1/5 — Missing functionality

*2025-03-21, version 3.10.16*

I use the desktop version and it’s awesome. However adobe acrobat is far superior. There is no ability to open files from iCloud or OneDrive or even from the iPad itself. Seems like a basic function for a PDF editor. I shouldn’t have to use regular cloud or studio to access files I have on my device. Adding this one function alone would raise it to 3 stars. I want a refund.

### 1/5 — Constant crashes

*2025-02-16, version 3.10.16*

This app crashes at a rate that makes it unusable. Figure it out Bluebeam. Otherwise remove yourself from the AppStore and stop taking our money for an app that fails to uphold basic functionality.

### 1/5 — So many errors

*2025-02-12, version 3.10.16*

Just bought it, brand new iPad Pro. Errors coming up when trying to make an account. Restarted the app and it let me in. Now it says my iPad is low on memory which is not true. Feels very 2010.

### 1/5 — Avoid. Nothing even close to pc version

*2024-12-11, version 3.10.16*

I didn’t expect much from this app, but was hoping to do markups and quick take offs in field.

You can’t open local files saved on iPad
No integration with onedrive, only Dropbox and that still questionable
UI/UX is a joke.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Better than the New Bluebeam Cloud App!

*2025-12-10, version 3.10.18*

I am not opposed to the new bluebeam cloud app, but please, add the features from this app to the new one. In the new one I can’t use toolbars, I can’t integrate images into symbols, I can’t have multiple pdf’s open at the same time. Please Please Please, include these features in the new app! It will completely ruin my surveying process int he field.

### 5/5 — Great App, but new cloud is the worst!!!

*2025-11-22, version 3.10.18*

This app has been critical for everything I’ve done in construction for the last 6 to 7 years. I have no idea what the low reviews are about, but I don’t know what I’m gonna do now that they are cancellation of iOS.

DO NOT SUBSCRIBE! New cloud app is worthless!!!!

### 5/5 — Way better than Bluebeam Cloud

*2025-11-11, version 3.10.18*

I am baffled that Bluebeam is discontinuing Revu for iPad, replacing it with an extremely dumbed down version, Cloud, which apparently isn’t even a finished product reading the replies. Revu for iPad gives you most of the capabilities of the desktop version and works great in the field, and it has bookmarks! Something the Bluebeam team probably thought was useless and omitted in Cloud.

### 5/5 — Great App- super disappointed

*2025-08-08, version 3.10.18*

This app has been critical for everything I’ve done in construction for the last 6 to 7 years. I have no idea what the low reviews are about, but I don’t know what I’m gonna do now that they are cancellation of iOS.

### 5/5 — One of the best apps on the market PLEASE KEEP SUPPORTING THIS APP!!!!!

*2025-06-02*

This really is one of the best app out there. I have been using this app for over 5 years. I use it daily to modify existing plans, mark up and create as built drawings. You can also import pictures with the help of Microsoft lens. This allows you to make layout drawings with measurements from pictures. 10$ really is a small price to pay for this app. This app doesn’t rely on a Bluebeam account like the new one does. You can import pdf files from just about anything. Once you get the hang of it I think you will agree.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for your thoughtful feedback and longtime support. Revu for iPad has been a powerful tool, and we know many users like you rely on its flexibility. We're working hard to bring those same capabilities—and more—to our new Bluebeam iOS and Android apps while supporting modern devices and workflows.

### 5/5 — 3.10.17 version works!!!!

*2025-04-04, version 3.10.17*

After being unable to use bluebeam for months finally the update fixed the issue and now I’m back fully using the app in my ipad

### 5/5 — Nooooo!! Don’t make it the last update

*2025-04-04*

Bro, I use this over every other construction app, this is just a suggestion, but stick with it make it better, I love this app I do all my measurements off it and there always dead on when my mechanics double check me and I’m rite with the app an there wrong with the tape lol It has the potential and the cost is rite, it’s complex and easy to learn that has a wide range of configurations, it’s a great base for someone that has the time to invest in the app. If you don’t but you’ve done a great job on it, keep up the good work a tad bit longer, Duct guy here just an fyi… but could you do me a solid and fix the tap and snap a pic on location , seems to be bugged I’m on iOS the newest version and newest iPad Pro, great job on the app though and sticking it out this long…

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for the love—it means a lot. Revu for iPad is built on older tech, which can cause issues on newer iPads like yours. That’s exactly why we’re building what comes next: Bluebeam Cloud for iOS. While it doesn’t have every feature as Revu for iPad yet, we’re adding support for local file access, markups, and—soon—tools like measurements and tool sets. We’re not rebuilding the same app—we’re building the one that comes after it, designed to grow with the way you work from the field. Let us know what matters most at community.bluebeam.com.

### 5/5 — Lots of complaints from people

*2024-08-30, version 3.10.12*

I enjoy using this app much more when walking around the job site or when I’m not at a desktop obviously the desktop version is much more efficient but the app version of the iPad is for the luxury of not wanting to carry prints around everywhere (example : I can’t bring my prints to a plane can I ?)

### 5/5 — The bad Reviews Posted on this app Must be Old

*2024-07-03, version 3.10.12*

I downloaded this app to do red marks on plans, and it works perfectly. If you take the time to explore the features, you will find that it works 95% as well as the desktop version. I love this app and I think it is actually under priced.

Thank you Bluebeam. This is just what an Ipad needs!

### 5/5 — Bluebeam for iPad

*2024-06-08, version 3.10.12*

I have been using Bluebeam for iPads since 2018. I work in construction and this has been the best tool used for drawings. I am able to annotate drawings, share drawings, and this app allows me to do whatever I need in construction.
