### 2/5 — Notification issues

*2025-09-15, version 45*

There seems to be a problem with the notifications. On the app it will show that there’s a notification number but when you go on the app, you can’t see where the notification is. This is becoming a issue constantly anytime this happened. You have to scroll through and figure out exactly where this notification is. It doesn’t show it in the app. What you have to click on to read the notification for it to clear out please fix this.

### 3/5 — It has potential

*2025-09-03, version 45*

The app description does mention it can be used for uti diagnosis which was when we first used it. Unfortunately that’s inaccurate, for the pediatrician to diagnose a uti and prescribe antibiotics the dr told me they need a urine sample so I had to take her in anyway even with positive at home tests. I have heard it is the same with many symptoms so in theory this is a great idea and maybe even worth it for the professional feedback when needed but as far as diagnosis and prescriptions without going to the urgent care, I don’t know if they will do that without testing. If you proceed with this awareness you won’t meet the disappointment many of us have.

### 3/5 — Could be amazing

*2025-04-27, version 45*

The app is simple to use, but often doesn't work. Uploading videos has never worked for me, and today it deleted my kids appointment after waiting all day on it. The kit they send you is almost worth it by itself however. And my visits so far have been really good. It's genuinely just the apps functionality that is bad.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2025-03-07, version 45*

Our son has asthma and it’s hard to get into the doctor for refills. We paid $214 only to find out they do not refill for inhalers so now our money for nothing and cancelled

### 1/5 — Beware, do not use Blueberry Pediatrics!

*2025-03-06, version 45*

My two-year-old had a fever and then an ear infection. I had to send in over four videos of her ear and none of it was sufficient. I waited an entire day talked to two different pediatricians and still was not prescribed amoxicillin which I know is exactly what she needs. This has been my first time using the app. I’ve had it for about a year. After this experience, I immediately canceled my membership. Nobody was helpful. Nobody used common sense. Everything took way too long and nobody really seemed to care about the fact that I needed antibiotics for my two-year-old who has had a fever for more than two days. I would definitely recommend not purchasing this, not subscribing to this and going to a traditional doctor whether or not it means paying more or not. This does not work!

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2025-02-16, version 45*

By the time I realized my 1 year old and 3 year old were very sick, it was a weekend and most of the urgent care clinics in my area were closing. Blueberry is so amazing- within an hour of signup I was on a call with a pediatrician getting medicine ordered to my pharmacy. I work in tech and I will say, the UI was surprisingly good and the app was so easy to navigate.

I love this service and it is 100% worth the money.

### 5/5 — We love this app & service

*2025-02-02, version 45*

We have just begun our second yearly subscription to Blueberry. It is an amazing supplement to our pediatrician. Our school district has a policy where kids need to stay out of school until they are 24 hours without fever but don’t trust parents to excuse absences (they are counted as unexcused). Kids get so many illnesses and we are finding post-COVID illnesses are another level! When I have a sick kid we get him comfortable and input symptoms (we have the kit and tests for strep, covid and flu), then wait. Sometimes the wait is longer because everyone is sick and sometimes it is quick but my child can rest or take a bath at home while waiting for the doctor. And I can work from home, while waiting. The docs never rush on the phone, they sometimes ask for videos or additional information. When my child had pneumonia, they told us to go to urgent care for an X-ray. We did but they also helped manage the time between those urgent care visits so he was comfortable and healed quickly. I love that we don’t need to wait for visits for meds, or go to a germy waiting room when the answer is simple. And we get doc notes for school so his illness absences are counted as such. They send in prescriptions when needed, confirm receipt, then tell you when it is ready. They make having a sick kid so much easier for busy parents. Blueberry cannot do it all but what it does, saves time and money and we could not be happier!

### 2/5 — Waste of money

*2025-01-27, version 45*

I loved this service for a few years. It was helpful for when my son would get an ear infection after a cold which happens pretty regularly. Recently, though, my son has had two ear infections that the Blueberry pediatricians wanted me to “wait out.” The first time I accepted it could have been situational that it worsened and urgent care treated, however, last night when I used the otoscope on my son’s ear, I could see that his right ear was red and very irritated. The Blueberry provider stated his ears were healthy. His fever was worse this morning so I brought him into urgent care. Not surprising- he had a pretty nasty ear infection that should have been treated when I had it looked at initially. I am disappointed that this happened twice now, so I canceled my subscription today. I understand that antibiotics are not always warranted, and tend to be overprescribed, but I think context matters and each kid is different and should be treated accordingly.

### 2/5 — Not satisfied

*2025-01-23, version 45*

I’ve used other telehealth apps before that are much more user friendly than blueberry. I used Blueberry twice and both times, I was left disappointed by my experience.

There’s no eta of when the doctor will reach out to you, and I used the messaging system to try to obtain an ETA after waiting for 25 minutes. The messaging system went unanswered for another 15. My entire wait to speak to the dr was almost an hour.

In the past, just discussing my kid’s symptoms and providing pictures was enough to get a prescription sent to a pharmacy. I’ve taken care of swimmer’s ear, other ear infections and strep this way, easily. I had a terrible time with my sons scarlet fever this time because the doctor would not prescribe simple antibiotics without a strep test. Who keeps strep tests at home? We ended up having to go to the urgent care at 9:30 PM after the doctor declined to do anything with Blueberry.

It’s a very frustrating situation and app and I wouldn’t recommend it.

### 5/5 — Best thing since sliced bread!!!

*2025-01-19, version 45*

I have literally told all my friends about this app I am blown away by the difference in care. This should be the standard for ALL healthcare needs. I literally just had a licensed pediatrician call me at midnight and let me know my son is ok and I submitted videos of his breathing that was concerning to me. As a first time mom, having this app saves me a lot of headaches and every encounter so far has been so patient. They respond literally within 30 mins to address my concerns and even have my prescription ready to be sent to the pharmacy for my son. All of this from the comfort of my home! I will have this app for as long as my son is allowed to use it!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Kids are being mistreated

*2026-07-12, version 46*

If you want your kids to be treated like laboratory rats this is the place to go to. I’ve sent the videos of my child ears and was told my baby has otitis and needs antibiotics. 3 days later we left on vacation and I forgot the antibiotics at home so I’ve started a new visit to get the prescription so we can finish the course of antibiotics, I’ve sent the exact same videos to the doctor and they told me that her ears are perfect and clear… the videos I’ve sent in both times were exact same!!!

### 1/5 — AI driven inaccuracy

*2026-05-07, version 45*

The impersonal, inattentiveness, and misdiagnosis of the 2 “visits” we’ve had are the reason we will not be continuing or recommending blueberry. It’s CLEAR AI is used and that the doctors do not actually look at anything. This is extremely dangerous.

Please look for 24hr triage lines to call before using this app.

#1. Ear pain, sleeplessness, head tilting. Redness in ear canal. Pictures and video included
- Said it’s a behavioral problem, and I should essentially let her cry it out.
-Went in person, she had an ear infection.

#2. Itchy Rash on both feet, no where else. Over a week. Pictures included.
-TWO “doctors”said HE had a scrape….

- SHE had athlete’s foot.

### 1/5 — Didn’t get any help

*2026-01-14, version 45*

The appointments I had through the app were either met with “she is okay” or “go see your pediatrician/ urgent care/ ER”. I was never prescribed anything, meanwhile my daughter had 3 ear infections, a sinus infection, and RSV all in her first year of life. I write this as I am sitting in the hospital waiting room while my 1 year-4 day old baby gets tubes put in her ears, with no help from blueberry unfortunately. I had high hopes when I was pregnant. Getting in and out of urgent care is 100 times easier than ER, so there’s that. Also urgent care is probably faster than blueberry because it takes hours to reply. Just go get your baby seen & Google your late night worries. If you do urgent care, make sure you call ahead & see if they take pediatric patients (especially infants)

### 1/5 — Scam

*2025-12-17, version 45*

Payed spent time money got nothing.

### 1/5 — User Beware

*2025-11-29, version 45*

Do not use this service! Very disappointed and I feel scammed. They also threatened to close my account when I spoke up about my experience. They said I was threatening or had a behavior problem. Just for saying there Dr. messed up. Of course any parent would be upset. I never used vulgar language or made any threats. Unbelievable how they twist the situation. They didn’t even read the intake form notes throughly and said my children were only sick a few days rather than over a week. Also had symptoms incorrectly diagnosed. They seemed rushed to get to the next patient. I feel like this was a complete waste of money and time. I will be finding another tele health service where the doctors actually take time to read your intake forms throughly and not make mistakes when diagnosing and then try to cover it up. Not acceptable or ethical.

### 1/5 — !!!BEWARE!!!

*2025-09-26, version 45*

Worst service ever! They give the most basic useless information. They told me to take my son to the emergency room for a COLD and since I didn’t they called CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES ON US!! They were at our door the next morning and our son was 100% well!!

### 1/5 — DISCLAIMER

*2025-09-25, version 45*

Blueberry Pediatrics does not see your child in person, yet they can make serious decisions like filing reports with Child Protective Services based only on limited virtual interactions, often without access to prior in-person evaluations or medical records. Their Terms of Use include a binding arbitration clause and class action waiver, which severely limit your ability to hold them legally accountable if harm occurs. Unfortunately, others have reported similar issues.

### 1/5 — Disappointment

*2025-09-20, version 45*

I have had Blueberry for almost 6 years. I once raved about the awesome kit and accessibility. They have never prescribed a single thing. I now wonder if they are even actual doctors. I have called in several times after long lingering respiratory issues and able to get meds for myself for same illness. They refuse. This is a scam there’s nothing being prescribed. Not even when the mother has the exact same illness with weeks of lingering cough. I’ll never recommend or use this again.

### 1/5 — This app is garbage

*2025-09-07, version 45*

Komal Vargas knows nothing prolly googles and answer

### 1/5 — A scam

*2025-05-26, version 45*

Honestly, a few of the doctors I spoke with seemed nice, but they weren’t able to help me with anything.

First, my daughter had an ear infection, and they couldn’t prescribe her any medication. We ended up taking her to urgent care, where she received the prescription she needed.

Next, my son had strep throat. Not only did they not recognize the symptoms (headache, fever, vomiting, sore neck/throat), but they also couldn’t prescribe him anything.

Then, my daughter began showing the same symptoms my son had—he had already been diagnosed with strep earlier that day at the ER. But, shocker—they still couldn’t prescribe anything because they didn’t have a positive strep test for her.

At this point, I’m genuinely wondering what exactly they can help with. These are the things they don’t tell you before you send them your money.

I asked for a refund, but I didn’t get all of my money back. Either it was prorated for the month I used the service (even though they failed to help me three times), or they charged me for that ridiculously cheap-looking and cheap-feeling medical kit. I’ll never know, because no one in customer service will return my emails or calls.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Best app I’ve ever had.

*2026-08-11, version 47*

It’s like having a doctor in your home. As a new-ish mom who has anxiety this has been a God send! Nobody ever wants to load up their children and haul them to the ER or doctor to wait in a waiting room for hours while they feel bad. The doctor’s respond quick and are so thorough and I never feel rushed! SO thankful for Blueberry pediatric! This app is truly the best thing ever invented.

### 5/5 — Amazing doctors!

*2026-06-11, version 46*

I love this app. I have been using it for 3 years now and it has saved me trip to my pediatricians. I have sent images of their rash (irritation/hfm) and videos of my son coughing (for croup) and each experience has been amazing. The doctors are able to tell me what’s going on and give me a prescription or supportive care instructions or advise me to in to our PCP. It’s so awesome to have this service as a mom of 2 toddler boys. Thank you Blueberry!!

### 5/5 — Amazing service

*2026-05-14, version 45*

No idea what kind of experience others have had but this is a LIFE SAVER for our family. Tons of avoided urgent care visits, amazing doctors, and simple to use. It seems like if you don’t do a visit it takes forever and also it’s annoying how hard it is to find messages for a specific kid or visit but still definitely great.

### 5/5 — Lifeline for parents

*2026-01-29, version 45*

Where to begin - I’ve been using Blueberry for 3 years since my son was born, and probably called and chatted with them about 18-20 times. Each and every experience we’ve had with their doctors has been great, they take the time to hear us out that our own pcp doesn’t. We’ve gotten prescriptions for some issues, but what sealed the deal for me was when my son was 18 months old. we were looking for support for breathing issues, and they told us to go in. I was annoyed because I was hoping to avoid an ER, but they were right: my son was admitted to the hospital for RSV. It’s very likely Blueberry saved his life. Another time, Blueberry caught a really nasty eye infection early and we were once again recommended to go to the hospital. The doctors there said that if we had waited there could have been irreversible damage.

My kid is going to have Blueberry for life!

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2025-11-23, version 45*

So easy and so affordable especially on the prescription part.

### 5/5 — Mom of 4 🙋‍♀️

*2025-10-30, version 45*

I text doctors each week from “is this an ear infection” to “what is this rash” and it’s been a life saver, time saver, and money saver. No questions are too small and their customer service team is 💪💪.

### 5/5 — Excellent and prompt service — a must have for a new parent

*2025-10-04, version 45*

Blueberry pediatrics is a very valuable service for parents with a newborn. The team is fast to respond at any time which gives us the reassurance we need and the ability to tackle situations in the moment. Highly recommend it in the newborn toolkit.

### 5/5 — Amazing option

*2025-08-27, version 45*

Just had our first appointment. This is such a nice option to have and so helpful!

### 5/5 — Two years in & still love them

*2025-06-08, version 45*

Even if it saves us one urgent care visit a year, the subscription pays for itself. And in the two years we’ve had a subscription, we’ve used it for more than that. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Best Ever

*2025-06-03, version 45*

If you have school-aged children and work or find it difficult to get a doctor’s appointment, this service can be a huge life-saver for you. Worth its weight in pure gold.
