Very frustrating. I just switched insurances from Independent health, and this might be a dealbreaker for me. I used the independent health app all the time. ### 1/5 — Much to be Improved *2018-06-19, version 5.1.0* This app is worthless. Much to be improved, below are a couple things that stand out the most: 1. Needs auto-login. Nobody wants to log in every single time they open the app. There needs to be an auto login feature or some sort of secure login feature to save people from typing in the username and password every single time. 2. “Discounts” link just doesn’t. The button just takes you off the app to a website that doesn’t load on mobile for some reason. It needs to be able to just list it on the app. It’s just a list and what each of them are, it’s not that hard. I can't even attempt to login. Open app and it opens to "member login" screen. No boxes for logging in or anything. Just a header that says "member login" at top of an otherwise completely blank white screen. How hard can that be? I see login complaints going back nearly 2 years. And when you tap "app support" next to the "write review" link right here, it sends you to bcbswny website to ask questions about enrollment or your plan. It's not even a link to app support. I tried to nicely ask for assistance through there, but when that happened I had to write a nasty review for all to see. Sorry. Please try again.” There are only two options, Accept or Decline. I hit Accept and nothing happens except the same error message over & over again. Stuck in a continual loop. The app is useless if you can’t log into your own account. Every time it asks me to "Accept the terms of Service" and I hit "Accept," it then tells me that there's an error, and I can never log in. This should really be fixed, considering that I don't have time to sit there and use the mobile site. :/ ### 3/5 — 3/5 *2019-05-11, version 5.1.0* App works fine, for the most part. However, the button to Find a Doctor doesn't work. Not having a Remember Me button available at login is annoying. And frankly, the menu after you login looks a little lame. It's in a definite need of a makeover. I'm more than willing to give this app a better rating when it improves. ### 2/5 — Doesn’t work but at least is a mobile card *2019-08-01, version 5.1.0* Most of the button don’t work, including discounts and find a doctor. The only thing it’s good for, is it has your ID card, in case you ever forget it. ### 2/5 — Login Failures *2016-12-12, version 3.0.2* Ok app. It's missing basic functionality of saving password so you don't need to login every time you use it. The ability to use Touch ID should also be added if extra security is needed. Any decent app programmer can do this. Having health card in wallet would be nice as well.
