## What is BlueEDM?

With a serial cable and an RS232-Bluetooth adapter, this app lets you download engine monitoring data from your EDM700 device to your iPhone or iPad. Make the dowloaded data available for your favorite tools like Savvy directly from your cockpit. Besides downloading from JPI EDM700 devices via Bluetooth, you may import JPI monitoring files from any other location.
The app will display important file information as well as basic information for each flight, such as peak engine parameters or warnings. The data may be exported as JSON data to be processed further by external tools.

### 1.7 — 2023-07-23

Improved JSON export for 4 cylinder engines. For these engines only 4  EGT and CHT values are displayed.
Fixed a bug where the JSON export of an EDM file crashed when a flight id was present in the file header with size equal to zero (and no data block available).
The progress indicator now updates regularly again. This was broken after a recent refactoring.

Support of newer EDM device versions (EDM800, EDM830)
Improved handling of units. Units are now also be part of JSON export (of a file and of a flight) 
If a sensor is unavailable during parts of flight, a corresponding warning is displayed
Display max MAP, max OAT, min OAT, max FF and max RPM if sensors are supported by the installation

New display of peak values:
	if a sensor value has a corresponding alarm threshold, display peak in red if it exceeds the limit, green otherwise
	if no alarm threshold is existent, display the peak value in the primary color

Mainly bugfixes:
Fix an error, where the JSON export of a flight always exported the last flight of a list instead of the selected flight
Fix an error where the DIFF warning displayed the CHT warn value instead of the DIFF warn value (calculations were correct nevertheless)
Calculate and display only those values where sensors are actually available
Correct handling when sensor values are not available: 
For each record, the sensors that are flagged as being not available by the EDM export are recorded and included in JSON export
Calculate EGT diff value (EGT spread) correctly
Maximal -> Maximum in JSON output
Name cooling rate parameter correctly in JSON output
Update the latest EdmParser version to include bug fixes and improvements
