### 2/5 — Extremely dissatisfied.

*2026-07-14, version 2.75.6*

I have been extremely disappointed with my experience with Blueground.

I booked accommodation in good faith, only to be told that I had to leave early because the landlord wanted the property back. This has left me in the incredibly stressful position of having to find alternative accommodation at short notice in Dubai.

What has been most frustrating is the lack of flexibility and understanding. I have explained multiple times that I am currently out of the country and don’t return until just a couple of days before they expect me to move out. Despite this, I continue to receive emails asking me to confirm my final move-out date before I have even been able to secure somewhere else to live.

Instead of feeling supported, I have felt pressured to resolve a situation that I did not create. Trying to arrange a new apartment remotely, while overseas, has been incredibly stressful and time-consuming.

While Blueground has said they will refund the unused portion of my stay and reimburse reasonable moving costs, the overall handling of this situation has been disappointing. I expected much better communication, empathy and support.

Based on my experience, I would be cautious about relying on Blueground if you need certainty over your accommodation.

### 1/5 — Hidden move out fees!

*2026-03-03, version 2.73.0*

Blueground tried to charge us over $1000 in cleaning fees after we moved out.

### 1/5 — Misleading prices - please change to all inclusive like air bnb

*2026-02-17, version 2.72.4*

Please change to all inclusive pricing like AIR BNB. Blueground shows one price on their platform and when you checkout it’s like thousands of dollars more. This is misleading and a waste of peoples time. Put the real cost all fees included. I will remove or change this review once this feature is edited. I don’t know a single consumer who would disagree with wanting this. People are searching for a budget they are comfortable with all inclusive. I am trying to book something on here and can’t be efficient due to this problem. Thank you.

### 1/5 — Horrible service, choose a different one

*2026-02-09, version 2.72.4*

Extremely disorganized and doesn’t respect the tenant. Multiple times we’ve told them to come at a different time when they try to schedule viewers or maintenance, and they completely ignore our wishes and come anyways even though they agree to come later. They’ve even locked us out when they came when we were out of the apartment, using the deadlock when we don’t carry that key, then blamed us for it

### 1/5 — Run away

*2026-01-31, version 2.72.4*

Use any other service. These people are an absolute nightmare to deal with.

### 1/5 — Poor services

*2026-01-06, version 2.72.2*

I wish I had read the critical reviews earlier. While the places are nicely and lightly decorated, the amenities tend to be broken and poorly maintained. The flush toilet keeps leaking, the blinds are broken, there are missing light bulbs in the lights. Parking clicker was missing when we moved in. Cleaning teams don't show up on the time they promised. None of these issues were resolved thoroughly after a month, even though the support team messages are always nicely written by AI.

### 1/5 — Company is a SCAM

*2025-12-18, version 2.72.0*

No not use this company it is a complete Scam

### 1/5 — Internet down no comms from team

*2025-12-10, version 2.71.4*

Been 30yrs of radio silence with no internet. All we got was a form email reply saying “turn off router and back on again” then Ghost.

Parking also chaotic.

### 2/5 — Document to avoid false damage charges

*2025-12-07, version 2.71.4*

Document everything upon arrival including photos and written description to management.

Moldy shower curtain, lifting floorboards, foul smell in kitchen, holes in walls and doors, malfunctioning clothes dryer, two days without hot water, just a start.

Then 100€ charge for “broken stove exhaust fan!” After a complaint that we never used it the charge was waived.

Who checks the stove exhaust fan? Grifters.

### 1/5 — Unexpected charge afterwards

*2025-12-03, version 2.71.4*

Got charged $1000 extra two months after moving out for a 3 month stay for extra cleaning cost on top of the cleaning fee already paid. Did not approve the transaction and had already deleted my account and payment info meaning they kept my credit details and charged me anyway.

### 1/5 — Tam bir dolandırıcı firma depozitomuzu iade etmedi birde utanmadan 35 bin tl de borçlu çıkarttı

*2025-12-03, version 2.71.4*

Asla telefonla veya yüz yüze muhattap olmayan kira kontratlarını bile meil üzerinden yapan muhattap bulamadığınız hakkınızı arayıp soramadığınız bir dolandırıcı firma

### 1/5 — Caution: Blueground Won’t Return Your Deposit without you requesting it

*2026-09-03, version 2.76.1*

Terrible experience with security deposits.

We’ve booked with Blueground four times, and not once did they proactively return our security deposit. Every single time, we had to reach out and follow up 5–8 times, and refunds often took over a month after move-out.

Even worse, our latest security deposit still hasn’t been returned.

After four separate bookings with the exact same issue, this is no longer just a “process issue.” It’s completely unacceptable. Customers should not have to repeatedly chase a company to get their own money back.

Extremely disappointing. I would not recommend Blueground.

### 1/5 — Trash

*2026-08-16, version 2.76.1*

Because i booked a partner managed apt online, i can now no longer log in to blueground. Ever. So i guess they really want that to be the last time i book with them. What a joke.

### 1/5 — Not trustworthy

*2026-08-11, version 2.76.1*

They will tell you one thing in customer support and do another thing to keep as much money as possible.

### 1/5 — Great App Until They Keep Your Security Deposit

*2026-08-03, version 2.76.0*

The app itself works well, but my overall experience with Blueground has been extremely disappointing.

My lease ended on May 31, and I am still waiting for my security deposit to be returned. Despite repeated follow-ups and multiple promises, the issue remains unresolved.

What I find most frustrating is that Blueground continues to send me frequent marketing emails encouraging me to book another apartment while they still haven’t returned my money.

A good app cannot make up for poor customer service and failure to honor financial obligations. Trust is everything when renting a home, and unfortunately, Blueground has completely lost mine.

I would not recommend this service.

### 1/5 — no support after lock out

*2026-07-03, version 2.75.5*

doors are secured with electronic door lock. my lock died. called support and they said the would follow up over email. essentially locked out without recourse

### 1/5 — Bugs galore; no effort by Blueground

*2026-06-04, version 2.75.4*

Day 5. Hundred+ bugs all over the bedroom. No effort by Blueground to help

### 1/5 — Legal Mess, Life Upended

*2026-05-20, version 2.75.2*

I rented three different apartments from Blueground over the last 3 years. One day I came home to an eviction/court summons notice at my door — despite having the unit rented for the next 4 months. The summons stated that Blueground had failed to pay the building’s rent for two consecutive months, was being sued by the building owner, and that all tenants were subject to eviction by court order.

What followed was a month of sparse, cryptic chat messages from Blueground — never a phone call — flip-flopping between “please disregard the notice,” “you’ll need to move out but we can’t say when,” and “you can stay another two weeks.”

When it came time to collect my next monthly payment, they suddenly became very confident I could stay the whole month. By this point I knew for a fact they had no way of knowing. A tenant’s rights attorney confirmed that with similar lawsuits sometimes resolving in as little as a month, I could have received a final eviction notice with only 5 days to vacate — and Blueground had no way of guaranteeing my stay. There’s a real possibility they had been pocketing tenant payments for months without paying the landlord, and according to the property manager, all 10 or so Blueground tenants in the building were in the same situation.

Facing that level of negligence and uncertainty was extremely taxing and disruptive to my life. I decided to move out early and end my relationship with Blueground entirely. I had to go $2K over budget due to unplanned hotel and storage costs, but I’m glad it’s over. With so many competitors for medium-term rentals, do NOT trust Blueground with your money.

### 1/5 — Misleading Parking Information and Extremely Stressful Experience

*2026-05-13, version 2.75.2*

I rented apartment (The Lafayette, Bay Area) through Blueground partly because the listing indicated that parking was available. In reality, there is no available parking in the building, I was placed on a waitlist with no estimated timeline, and the only “solution” offered was SpotHero — despite there being no realistic parking options available nearby.

The most frustrating part is that these apartments are marketed and priced as premium rentals. We are paying an extremely high amount of rent, yet dealing with basic problems like not even being able to park our car near our home.

We have a 3.5-year-old child, and the moving process was already extremely exhausting for our family. I tried to be understanding at first because there were multiple issues during move-in over the weekend, but the parking situation has become completely unacceptable.

I have spent hours driving around searching for parking at night, was left without a parking space on the street, and eventually even received a parking ticket because we were forced to park wherever we could find a spot. I shared videos and documentation with the company, but there is still no real solution.

With the World Cup approaching, the area is becoming even more crowded, which will make parking almost impossible in the evenings. Paying such a high rental price while dealing with this level of stress every single day is simply unreasonable.

If parking is not actually guaranteed or realistically available, this should be stated clearly before people rent these apartments.

### 1/5 — Broken amenities, AI Slop Support

*2026-04-08, version 2.74.8*

I regret booking with Blueground for extended period before reading the critical reviews here. My experience includes broken dishwasher that never worked despite 3 repair attempts, heating that didn’t work during the winter, broken stove that leaks gas and cannot be turned off, and a second floor railing that broken and my 2yo baby girl almost fell. I left a review before here but all I got is insinuations that I’m not a real customer. Well my booking number is 24349, and yes I will be suing.

### 1/5 — Not Set Up

*2026-03-26, version 2.74.5*

No toilet paper nor towels upon arrival. Toaster & electric kettle didn’t work. Blueground eventually fixed the problems but it was an unnecessary inconvenience.

Everything is really well made and it just kind of works and has all the information you need and yeah pretty great whoever developed it should get a raise honestly
