Not carrying any cash? Pay by credit or debit card, and avoid having to stop at the cash point along the way.

No standing in the rain. Track your car as it arrives on a map, or call the driver when for an update. No more guessing where your cab might be. 

Place bookings hours, days, or weeks in advance. Whenever it's convenient for you. 

If necessary, cancel your booking at any time. It takes seconds to place a new booking directly from the handy favorites list.

Having integrated SMS booking, we've now launched this intelligent iPhone App so you can book a taxi within seconds.

It's so easy and quick to use. Download the App and register just once. Our intelligent software will suggest your favourite Pick Up locations, and you're ready to book a car.

When you make a booking, we'll notify you by Push Notification as your car is dispatched. We'll also inform you when your car is 2 minutes away, giving you additional details such as registration number, make, model, and vehicle colour.

Unable to sign up. When inputting OTP code sent, it keeps saying ‘there has been an error’. When attempting to unlock password via email, no email is sent (junk/spam folders checked). Terrible app.

Booked a taxi the night before a trip through this app and it didn’t try to assign a driver until 5 minutes before the booking time. No drivers anywhere near. Called the office and they had no one ‘nearby’ so cancelled and booked through a better company named in this review

This app does not work, I have tried booking taxis for the past week and nothing has worked keeps saying it has declined yet I have just been paid, sort it out I just want to get home. Absolutely shocking.

Had to uninstall the app due to the sheer number of daily notifications I’m getting from the app. There’s marketing your services but Blueline take it to the next level. Today I have had a total of 9 notifications about random things and becomes so annoying.

The app will send you constant advertisement notifications which you can’t turn off. You can only turn off all notifications in your phone settings which isn’t useful when you’re trying to use the service.

How this app has 4.8 stars at the time of writing this is beyond me. 
Book taxis ahead of time? No taxi gets assigned to your booking leaving you stranded.
Manage to get a taxi somehow? Driver takes the scenic route leaving you out of pocket.
Blueline used to be my go to for taxis at a decent rate but nowadays it’s my go to for terrible service.

I had made a taxi booking for my dentist appointment, I was waiting for the taxi to come but without telling me Blueline cancelled my booking causing me a lot of stress and I was late because of it. I had to rebook a taxi which another service instead. Blueline have also changed to AI voice for booking taxis which makes it harder for me. I much prefer being able to talk to a person.

You get charged more money if the driver goes below 8mph and it’s up to the driver to select that they have arrived, I’ve had drivers select arrived 5 minutes before arriving and then been charged a waiting fee on top of the driving fare from my bank account, they need to monitor locations so this doesn’t happen. You also get charged for time spent at traffic lights on top of the fare, 20p every minute or something like that.

I really like Blueline as a company but the transactions via the app needs fixing. It’ll charge you when you book, but if the end price is more (which is sometimes the case, and this I can understand in some circumstances) then you get charged twice. Sometimes you don’t have enough money to be charged twice! I almost got stuck with a driver at the airport because I paid the initial £25 fee when booking, but because it cost £26 the payment rejected as it tried taking a full £26 rather than the additional £1 needed. This was a day before payday for me - I was flying back home and so I didn’t have enough to essentially be charged twice. Thankfully the driver was understanding to a degree - he took a pic of my ID and I promised to bank transfer to him next day, which I did and then I got the £25 back from Blueline! V strange mechanism and needs adjusting… either charge the max fee and refund what isn’t spent, or charge the max fee and only take the extra charges accrued? 

Considering cost of living these days this might leave a lot of people unstuck and cause undue stress. I was lucky I had a driver that gave me the benefit of the doubt!
